The hotel is a perfect place to stay in Magdeburg. It is within walking distance of the train and bus station, the city center, and the university. The staff was very willing to help. The rooms were comfortable and the right size for a business trip, and the hotel offered a good breakfast. All this for very reasonable value for money.

    I requested a quiet room but was given one right next to the...

    I requested a quiet room but was given one right next to the elevator — it was very noisy. There was no water, no coffee maker, and no kettle in the room. No extra pillows were provided either, and the one that was there was too small. I also had to pay for parking this time, even though I didn’t have to on my previous stay. The booking mentioned that parking might be charged, so it seems to depend on the hotel’s mood or how long you’re staying. The room itself felt outdated. Maybe I should have paid €5 more for the better room, but it’s strange that such a small price difference leads to such a big difference in quality.
