The room was large and well fitted in an old stle that is rare to find these days, beautifully done by the owners. The hostess was very friendly and obliging as always (our 3rd or 4th stay - all equally good. Benavente is large enough to still be lively and open in November, unlike town on the pilgrim route.

We could have a drink in the bar, and it was only 7 min drive to Benavente where there are plenty of restaurants to choose from.

The owner was very kind and let me put the motorbike in his locked garage. I guess if you go to Benevente for the Bull running festival, this would be a superb base.

After eventually finding a cafe with wifi I was told to ho across town to another hotel to get the key - I stayed at the other hotel.
