2 The Cottage, hotel in Upholland

Featuring garden views, 2 The Cottage provides accommodation with a garden and a balcony, around 12 km from Haydock Racecourse.

Stunning, modern interior. Very comfortable beds and large living space, with the Velux windows upstairs a rare treat. Great, easily accessible location making this stay great value for money. The hosts were informative and made check-in / check-out very efficient for the customer, with useful high-tech key lockboxes a great touch. The weather stopped us being able to use the outside facilities but they looked great too. Highly recommend.

The high level of comfort in the hotel and everything looked new, pleasant decor and cosy seating areas, good lighting for putting on your make up girls. Big bathroom with huge mirror, walk in shower. Warm bedroom, comfy bed, wonderful varied breakfast professional staff, very helpful and approachable. Plenty of parking outside. If I wanted to nit pic, the water could have been hotter 're shower also in breakfast area for cuppa tea re machine. But staff will bring you tea pot boiling water if you ask. The lane to the hotel is a bit daunting as its narrow and winding, bit tricky to find, could do with more signs, but I would highly recommend this hotel, it's well worth a vist. Loved it!

Good value for money for families but is in need of refurbishment in the bedroom we stayed in. Other party who stayed in another room which was disabled friendly was excellent and the wet room ideal for my brother who had recently suffered from a stroke. This room would be a good standard to set the other rooms on the ground floor
