It must have 30 years since I had been to Dingle.

It must have 30 years since I had been to Dingle. I enjoyed my visit but will move onto other destinations for my next trips. i.e. it didn't tug at my heart and soul to draw me back as other places might. It's a lovely town but very touristy as is Slea head. There are some lovely walks in the area we enjoyed, some walks are popular and some very quiet where you can be at one with nature.

Dingle has certainly great pubs and fine restaurants (Fish Factory), but too touristic for us. Bit too crowdy in the summerseason. The region around Dingle itself is really superb, Slea Head Drive, Mt Brandon, various beaches, Cashel Murphy etc etc

We started Kingdom Falcony with a group experience.

We started Kingdom Falcony with a group experience. Amazing interaction with several birds. Checked into a little BNB and had dinner at the Fish Box which was crowded but good. We did a bit of shopping and I purchased a wonderful book at the book shop about Ireland history. I asked the shop owner about a good pub to read and was directed to Kennedy's up past the church. Wonderful pub, local musicals playing when I got there, little court yard, a couple cute little sitting rooms including a little place under the stairs.

We parked top of town. First impressions weren't great. A bit depressed looking. Down nearer the harbour it was much better. We loved the harbour area. It was good by day with places to sit etc. and very pleasant to walk around in the evening. Good choice of pubs/restaurants for eating. The Boat Yard Restaurant was fabulous. Best fish platter including Chowder 😋

Our stay at Heaton’s Guesthouse was absolutely phenomenal! The location was perfect for walking into town as well as the beautiful view of the ocean. I’ve never stayed in such a comfortable bed, we definitely debated on whether we should go out and explore or just stay inside and sleep. The staff were so friendly and accommodating - which made our trip so much more relaxed and comfortable. The breakfast was delicious and the perfect start to our day. We will definitely be back and recommend to anyone who comes to stay in Dingle :)

Highly recommended. Had a wonderful stay here. Place is near the Brandon creek which was gorgeous. The house is near to slea head drive. The place was clean and affordable. The room was warm and the shower was lovely. The host was marvelous. She gave us tips how to travel dingle. They have a large farm with lambs and chicken and the owner was nice to let us hold their baby lamb. Nice play to stay to get away from the busy town. Would definitely comeback.
