Laura, our host, was exceptional! We had very clear communication beforehand, which was important since we were travelling on our bicycles and could not take any chances in the rather remote area. Tucked up in the mountains, a stone cottage with a rustic feel. Inside offers all you need for a comfortable stay. Lots of stone, wood, and decorative details that give you a feel for the architecture and history of this region of Italy. We were greeted when we arrived, shown around the apartment, given the keys, and they even had the pellet heating stove going to warm up the cottage. Comfy bed, nice bathroom, and equipped kitchen to cook meals if you like. A little off the beaten path, but if you're visiting this mountain region, a nice place to stay. There is a set of stairs to climb to get up to the cottage from the road, but well worth the effort. The exterior and other stone buildings around the cottage are like out of a medieval fairy tale.
