Staff was perfect, all of the more than ten people who were there to greet and serve us. The room was spotless as if no one had ever been there before us .. whole hotel and exterior adjoining areas were beautiful and spotless and lovely to see. Beach was not active because season is not here yet, but the views were extraordinary and thrilling to see…close to all shopping and restaurants etc. We loved it all!!

The only thing that could have enhanced our one night stay at the Diana would have been a room overlooking the Med. A grand hotel indeed this is. Dinner was a culinary experience to be repeated and breakfast choices were excellent.

Beautiful seaside town. Beautiful beaches and shops. Wonderful beachfront hotels. High end but still wonderful for families. You can walk far out in the water and still stand. Water not too cold. More of an affluent beach town. Very nice beach walk that runs a very long distance. Pretty town. Was once vacation destination of the affluent English who built villas here. I love Alassio. This is where my parents (from Piemonte) vacationed when they were younger.

Very nice resort.
Very nice resort. Not too crowded though - just golden middle. Shops and bars working till late. There are lots of beaches, but if your facility cannot grant you a bench, better look for placed closer to Zero beach, since this is the only public beach. And question is not about money - there are simply no available benches. You simply cannot get one even if there are plenty of empty benches. One of the guys explained, that they are booked for whole months and nobody can use them even if they stay empty.

Alassio is nice, but we generally found it way too crowded. Almost impossible to find a place on the beach and to eat at night (Saturday). So on Sunday we decided to go for a good hike in the hills and we ended up in the next town (Laigueglia), which is much smaller and more quiet, local and charming than Alassio. We had a great lunch there away from the masses. Restaurant tip for Alassio (but book a table well in advance!): Graf.

Small next to the sea Italian summer resort with a long and narrow private beach. A couple of main streets with shops and restaurants; lively atmosphere in the evening. Not much more otherwise. It would not be my holiday destination of choice.

I have a very partial vision of Alassio, because i was born here and still most of my family and of the people I love are in Alassio or have stict tights to it. It is the place where i spend most of my holidays, it is full of life in summer as well as in winter. The climate is incredible, espacially in winter, where you can have up to 18 degrees during Christmas Holidays, if you are lucky. Everything is available within a few minutes: transports, beaches, activities, restaurants, an incredibly beautiful shopping walking street (Budello), and enchanting places to walk up the hills (Solva, Moglio, Santa Croce, Vegliasco to mention some examples). Nothing is better than breathig pine scent and look at the sea in Santa Croce, reading a book with the bay in front of you. If you like jogging, the road connecting Alassio to Laigueglia is around 3 km and tiled and is suitable for long morning or night walks.

Alassio at this time of the year is off season, a little cool and sometimes rainy. I had great coffee, read the paper and watch the people pass by right on the ocean. It is a great town with open restaurants and cafes that are pretty good. This hotel, the Spiaggia, gave me full ocean view for a very reasonable price. And I must say this room is terrific in size and equipment, could not be better. The kicker is the people here are not only very pleasant looking but very gracious and helpful. I asked to stay an extra night so I could enjoy the sound of the ocean and watch the sun rise from my balcony, and they said yes. The location is great and the restaurant serves three meals and the folks there are very professional and very accommodating and the food was pretty good. There are other nice hotels here. If you are up for a walk this is a good place. Actually walking here is terrific. I recommend this hotel and this town.

Very helpful staff. We had been warned prior to arrival that there was no lift which was fine but the lovely receptionist insisted on carrying one of our cases up 2 flights of stairs, despite my assurances that we could manage. She was very pleasant, taking time to recommend which beach to use. (Nearly all the sea front is private beaches that charge for use). Our room was clean, well maintained and surprisingly quiet given the location close to the centre.

Hotel is in a good position on the beach strip. All outdoor spaces are spacious and lovely. Very pretty and relaxing. Big private beach. Bar and lounge areas are also large and nice. Has a small partially enclosed pool. I enjoyed dining at the Marina restaurant. The one next to the beach. Lovely atmosphere. Food was good. Service was good. Beautiful breakfast. Seating on the grand terrazzo. Staff are very accommodating and friendly! I enjoyed my stay!

Very comfortable beds and pillows, room cleaning twice a day, good location, clean private beach. Very pet-friendly, our dog got a present from the reception - snacks, and there was a dog-bed in the room too. Leaving the dog alone in the room was not an issue for the hotel, it is a big plus. The check-in and check out were fast, the parking in the underground garage was also comfortable.

Fantastic breakfast, selection of sweet things as typical in Italy. The homemade "Baci de Alassio" were squisito! The location is great and the two brothers running the show were super friendly. Room was super clean as was the private shower. For the price and location, more than exceeded expectations, would love to come back to Hotel Mignon when back in Alassio!

Great location on the beach and friendly staff. We have liked this hotel very much. The hotel has a nice pool on the top with a wonderfull view and a terrace. The private beach is clean with a very usefull and friendly stuff and it is possible to buy a half day ticket for a two persons for a 25€, however you need to book the first rows right next to the sea in advance.
