Can't really praise Le Maracla more highly. Beautiful setting but not far from Centro storico of Jesi. Very comfortable. Walter and Sara were so friendly and helpful. And Sara is a great cook!

A sleepy hilltop town, which is nevertheless the administrative centre of the local authority district. I had been somewhat delayed on my journey there, but a kind local had me follow his car to the hotel. Try Vini e Cucina for dinner in Staffolo or Oasi in the other direction for something a bit more generically Italian, still good though.
I went here to chill out, but there are still some attractions within an hour's drive in each direction.
A short journey away from the stunning caves of Frasassi, the largest in Europe that are open to the public, and a slightly longer journey to the walled Renaissance City of Urbino with its huge Ducal Palace.
I didn't try the beach, but Le Marche's endless beaches are also within very easy reach.
You do need a car.

We have already stayed in Staffolo a number of times, but it was the second time in this hotel, we want to give it a second chance it's a beautiful building and spacious rooms. We did not use the SPA because it 's never talked about or given any little explanation.
