Dordrecht is the coziest and most peaceful city I’ve ever visited - a place where history whispers through every brick, and time seems to slow down just enough to let you breathe. Its charming canals, lined with beautifully preserved old houses and quiet boats, create a picture of timeless Dutch elegance. The architecture is a harmonious blend of the past and present - from graceful merchant houses to the majestic Grote Kerk (Protestant Church), whose tower watches proudly over the city. Every corner of Dordrecht tells a story. The monuments, narrow cobblestone streets, and hidden courtyards carry the weight of centuries, while local traditions bring the city gently to life. I had the joy of experiencing King’s Day here - filled with music, joy, orange everywhere, and a true sense of community spirit. The Saturday farmer’s market was another unforgettable highlight - full of fresh produce, flowers, cheese, and warm smiles.
