We visited close friends, so it was a holiday trip but not for sight- seeing. Breda itself has not much to offer, it is a mid-size town with a pedestrian zone in the center but no real highlights. Apart from the usual shops there are some nice restaurants and bars, but you have to know them. Compared to Amsterdam f.e. it lacks all the tourist attraction, so no canals or coffee shops. a bit plain, typical dutch.
Nice pups and restaurants. Easy shopping, good quality shops. Rent a hotel in the centre or rent a car. No trams in the city, like Amsterdam and Rotterdam. Hotels in the city can be expensive, just because they are in the city. But not necessarily good.
Great picturesque and cozy city in the south of Netherlands, very friendly people and great places. Especially in the summer months Breda is probably the best city in the whole country, awesome vibes.
It has a very small cozy city center but, depending on what you like, it has enough entertainment. I took the tour in the cathedral and went up to the tower. Walked around the city center, went to the park, stond on the "Hoge Brug"... You can visit the begijnenhof and go to a couple of more museums. Also the Natural park De Biesbosch is 30km from Breda.
A well located attractive town with good access to major routes and a fabulous train station with regular connections to other towns such as Rotterdam and Utrecht. Breda has a great range of upmarket chain stores and independent shops.
A bit of an unknown Dutch city that I have been fortunate to visit on a number of occasions. It is a great size - easy to get around - and has a delightful central area with a beautiful church and market square surrounded by high quality restaurants and bars. The (relatively) new train station (only 52 minutes from Schiphol) has rejuvenated the nearby districts. There is a beautiful central park as well.
Breda
This is a lovely farm B&B on the outskirts of Breda (shared facilities). I stayed there mainly because Breda was a convenient location for my travels in Southern and Eastern Netherlands. Koen is a great host, very helpful. The breakfast was quite good and we were able to arrange it for the time that worked for me. The neighborhood is quiet, somewhat rural, but close enough to historic Breda (about 5-10 minute drive).
Only stayed for one night to attend a Go_A gig at 'Mezz', which was about 60 seconds walk away, wish I'd had more time to enjoy both the hotel and Breda, would definitely return for a longer visit. Hotel was fantastic, immaculate, brilliant friendly staff, and my room was absolutely first class !

Breda
We loved the location very close of the best of Breda: the woods, the cosy part of the city and great restaurants. The stylish, warm interior made us feel at home at once. But the quality of the hosting by the owners made all the difference. We will be back.
Classic hotel with traditional charm and large terrace in a quiet neighbourhood. Right across from a forest park. Bicycles available to rent and just a short cycle from the city centre. If creaky floorboards and thin walls annoy you don't stay here.
The service is kind and helpful. The room was generally clean but yet i saw some imperfections. The hotel itself is very old when it comes to furnitures etc. But the price itself is fair comparing to other places.
These students are being taught to think customer-centrically, which is an absolutely essential in any company, but is especially important in the hotel and restaurant industry.
The hotel is perfectly located with all the facilities you need to enjoy a city trip in Breda. The hotel is neat, nicely designed with great food and exceptional staff.
