Received an exceptional upgrade to the largest room, with balcony. Friendly staff and students, that are working at the hotel. They served me a delicious dinner and a good breakfast. The location is superb, within minutes your are in the middle of the woods.

Kasteel Engelenburg is situated on a gorgeous property. The building has been lovingly maintained and is just beautiful. The staff was unfailingly friendly and helpful. I enjoyed all my meals here (breakfast, lunch, and dinner) - everything is elegantly presented and delicious. I wasn't at Engelenburg to play golf, but I could still admire the grounds with a walk around the property. Furthermore, there are bikes for guests (regular bikes are free, e-bikes can be rented for a small fee) and immediate access to bike paths to explore the region. I can't recommend them highly enough!

Very good location, close to Deventer, Apeldoorn, Zutphen, Bussloo. The room was simple but very clean and a good bathroom with space to put your items. Free parking close to the rooms. Very friendly and helpfull personel. Breakfast very good, with enough choices, replenished on time. Goof coffee.

The room was great and worked well but what surprised me in such a positive way was the restaurant. I decided to book dinner there and was so happy that I did. The meal was exceptional, not at all what I was expecting. Additionally, the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, going out of their way to make sure I had a wonderful stay. I'll definitely return.

    Loenen has all the basic facilities with a good Spar shop.

    Loenen has all the basic facilities with a good Spar shop. A good cafe at BikeandEat. There lots of good walks in the area exploring the woods and countryside. The cycling north and west is good, east was more exposed to the wind with a busy road to cross. Had we wished there are several places worth visiting in Arnhem and Apeldoorn. An easily accessible location for a quiet break.

    The staff are simply awesome,nothing is to much trouble,always quick to serve and efficient.The room was rather compact,as was the bathroom,but spotless,comfortable and served as an excellent base for our travels in the area.The quality of the restaurant was truly incredible for a smaller family run hotel,a very satisfied customer.

    The restaurant was quite good, both dinner and breakfast were nicely prepared. The location of the hotel is also very convenient for bike trips. The room is small but clean and a water boiler is present. There is a shed where you can park your bikes which is closed-off during the nights. The staff is friendly.

    Good and comfortable stay. The check in and check out was smooth and hassle free. The rooms were spacious and clean. Staff was helpful and friendly. Located in a small and calm town. Hotel has its own restaurant where you can have good meals. In all a good stay.

    I stayed for one night at the hotel during a bike tour. Staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful, food was superb (lunch, dinner, as well as breakfast). The room was very cute and comfortable. The hotel is also very cycling friendly!
