The hotel is situated on a mountain side. It's a big property with many buildings or cottages on the side of the mountain. Unfortunately during out stay it was foggy and rain. Hence we could not see the sunrise (which is what we came to see) But this gave us different vibe as if we stayed in a mystical land always surrounded by clouds. The room was clean, with a nice big bed and the bathroom fully stocked with toiletries. The restaurant had great options of continental and Indian food. And the staff very cordial. We enjoyed a bon fire in the evening amidst the floating clouds and it's eteched in my memory forever. A truly fantastic stay.

I had the best stay at this property! The views from the rooftop were incredible. It is easy walking distance (7mins) to a beautiful sunrise view point. The food was good and staff was very friendly.

Service, staff, rooms, view, Spa facilities, restaurant & bar, round the clock service was all Very Good. The property despite its terrain has been designed in a very user friendly way.
Suggest you go in a group of at least 4-6 persons. or it can get boring. Not much to do around except trekking trails and long walks and yoga in the park. One can visit the city of Kathmandu and Pashupatinath temple. But if you are alone or a couple it can get a little lonesome. Excelent venue to get away from the madding crowd.

Lovely place to stay. Whether you like hiking, cultural vibe or just sit down and enjoy environment, this is place for You. Easy or more demanding hike is there, cultural spots ( temples, stupas), view points, little restaurants, coffe places.

It is probably the most overrated place near Kathmandu.
It is probably the most overrated place near Kathmandu. The food prices are crazy expensive (it's not due the remote location as the restaurant owners will claim as a few decently priced restaurants are also available). The road is completely horrible around the Nagarkot main market. There is no petrol pump (gas station) and the place in general lacks any character.

The hike around the hills were easy and scenic. Just use GPS on the phone. Food is easily available. For the adventurous taking the bus to Bakhtapor is definitely a must, we had a careful driver and enjoyed it.

It's a quiet and serene place with wonderful mountain views. Lang tang Himal, Ganesh Himal and many others are seen from the viewpoint. Everest also can be seen, but it's very far. It is definitely a place worth staying for a few days.
This place is really the nicest surprise to discover! Very nice treehouses and cabins. A great area outside for socializing and very tasty food! The owners are ultimately helpful and friendly. Surely recommended if you are searching for a place close to Kathmandu (45 min by car)where you are in middle of nature. Walking distance to suspension bridge Nagarkot, waterfall, 2km long (very high!!!) Superman Zipline Nagarkot. Beautiful walking area.
The location was in the center of Nagarkot. We were able to see the beautiful sunrise from the hill close to the hotel. The room was very clean with a wonderful smell. The staff made you feel like family. The internet was stable and fast. The fantastic view from the room was of the mountains. This hotel seems to have invested heavily in maintenance and is ready to welcome guest and it does not feel neglected because of the COVID19 pandemic.
Nice, clean and spacious rooms and bathrooms. From your room and the terrace / balcony, you can view the magnificent Mt. Everest range, weather permitting. You can also spot a lot of Himalayan birds within the property itself. The highest level terrace of the hotel would allow you to experience the glorious sunrise and sunsets on the mountain ranges. The staff are extremely courteous and helpful. Food served was simple and tasty.
Real nepali homestay, the family is super nice and helpful, delicious organic food in beautiful nature, calm area, great views on the mountain from the property and really hot shower.
Please be aware that this is a homestay not a hotel, so if you want something fancy, choose something different. It reminds me a bit the accomodation on the trek. And dont forget to bring warm clothes.
Situated in a great location with one of the best views of mountains in Nagarkot. Our room with balcony was spacious, spanking clean and bright. The owners were very friendly and the restaurant staff was very nice, polite and helpful. The roof top space was fantastic. Their breakfast could use some more choices but it was still tasteful.

I loved staying at this homestay. Ram, Raj and the entire family are amazing people. The food at the restaurant is the best I have had during my time in Nepal!
This homestay has basic facilities which is reflected in the friendly price. The beds are quite hard, but just ask for more padding and blankets and they will provide you.
Well the staffs are really polite and cooperative, best for groups ,at the top floor there's a a large hall and terrace which is enough space for more than 15 people...and the price here is very reasonable and affordable compared to other hotels, santation and neatness is well maintained, you can't ask for more.
- The Fort Resort has one of the best locations in Nagarkot. One can see the Himalayas right in front of the hotel.
- The hotel is very quiet and clean. The garden is beautiful.
