Skawina is a lovely small Polish town, with beautiful churches and good restaurants. Pleasant to walk around has a lovely square surrounded by shops, food places and bars with public toilets. A park is near by near some water and children's park for teenagers and small children. Consisting of climbing frames, skate ramps, football area and tennis court.

Its a lovely small town but has not got any trappings of a city (eg. night life or bars as we know it). Plenty of shops and some quirky little ones like Ireland in the 1950's. A lot of food outlets and plenty of lovely parklands and a lake with river.
It is a nice quiet place to stay if one wants to travel to other nearby cities by tram, train or bus , all of which have stops at Skawina.
