We had an amazing stay with hosts Milica and Miroslav, they are very warm and hospitable people. We felt like their special guests as we got rakia and coffee every day of our stay. But more importantly, we spent the evenings together talking about life in general. Indeed, we felt like children visiting our parents.

Absolutely wonderful house - everything inside and outside made with love and attention to detail. Lovely colors. Super clean.
Something to keep in mind: bedroom is on the 2nd floor, so there is a staircase. Staircase is quite steep, but also the safest it could possibly be. Our daughter liked climbing it, of course :)

Sharganska osmica worth a visit, it a better to book a visit or buy a ticket beforehand, at jatarre train station there is a good place too eat pancakes and other stuff, the place works till 18.30pm
I think 1-1,5 days is more then enough for visit, otherwise if you prefer to hike you could take more days

The Train Ride through the mountains each s spectacular. Great hiking and biking paths. Saw some motor cycle clubs too.
Else just hang out and taste the mountain air.

My favourite place was Mecavnik, Sgarganska Osmica, Banjska Stena, the smallest river, 365 meters long “River of the year”, Zaovine, Visegrad. The best restaurant is in Sarganska Osmica, which has affordable prices for the variety of food they offer. It was very easy to go around with the kind help of the locals who are very helpful.

Beautiful architecture of the place combining traditional and modern design, surrounded by an amazing scenery. Various activities are available on site, such as spa & wellness, table tennis, hiking.. Staff perfectly helpful. Definitely going back there!

Beautiful place in the mountains with an operating train doing tours through and around the hills. The place was nice and clean with a good breakfast included. Very serene and peaceful surroundings. Easily could have spend another day there and wish we would have had time to take the train. Close to Mt. Tara. Nice room at a reasonable price.

Next to the Tara Nat'l Park it has great views, access to the Sargan 8 train trip and Bella Voda for medicinal water. Peaceful spot but need your own transportation. The groceries are minimal so bring food if you plan to cook your own as well. Dvengrad small but interesting but charges to tour until 7pm. After that you can access the bar and restaurant with free entry.
The guesthouse is very pretty , a nice house with a garden, very quiet, clean and confortable. The location is very near the old train station where you can do the amazing train trip and also visit around Drvengrad, Kusturica village, which is fabulous. Also I could hike to the church Bela Voda, with a nice location in a vallee nextby. The owner and his wife are so friendly and welcoming that I feld at home. Thank you so much for this wonderful time I had in Mokra Gora. Yanna
The house is beyond awesome. The owner picked us up from the Drvengrad and he is sooo kind and nice. We had lovely breakfast there. The owner said, although his English is poor, his food is great.haha :)
We get lots of helpful info through the text on Booking via his daughter. I must say, this place really great and has an amazing view from the window. Would love to reccomend it to all the people looking for a cozy place in Mokra Gora.
The apartment was in a great location at Mokra Gora, 1 min walk to the train station, and you can actually see the station from the window. The apartment was very clean and tidy, and the hosts were extremely friendly and kind. They didn't speak English, while they tried their best to deliver what they mean and always gave us the warmest greetings when we met. It is highly recommended to stay here when you visit Mokra Gora!

For the staff I don't even have words to describe how polite and helpful they are.
Near by is Drvengrad, you can search it, the restoran (without T) on the train sration was really good.
Unfortunately we were there just for one day so we couldn't make a trip with the train, but next time this will be mandatory pleasure.
We booked a house (boongalo) entirely. It was one of my best experiences ever (believe me, I've seen a lot of different family hotels). Everything was far beyond expectations: the view from the balcony was amazing, the beds were comfy, the heaters and aircon were fine, the location is simply the best (we also booked tickets for the tourist train the same day).
The couple who own the property are so lovely, we had a wonderful chat for an hour via google translate. Staying here was exceptional because of them, 10+. They encouraged me to take the narrow gauge train ride which I did, and it was amazing well worth it. I would have stayed an extra night but they were booked out.
Brvnara Iverak has a great location, walking distance to some of the best viewpoints in Mokra Gora. The house has a warm atmosphere and all you need for a nice, comfotable stay. Zarko was a great host, he is a great guy who knows the area well and takes good care of his guests. Hope to come back during ski season!
It is such a nice wooden house. Interior decoration and furnitures are unique, really impressive. Although it is close to Drvengrad, Emir Kusturica’s village, the apartment is isolated from all others. Spending times in balcony with bird and waterfall sounds are a unique experience.

I needed a proper break from the city for some hiking, and this was just what I wanted. The location was perfect for both hiking right out the door in Mokra Gora and for driving to Tara. Everything was clean, cosy, and peaceful. I truly recommend this wee house.
Drvengrad is an amazing place. I loved the apartment we stayed in. I like the fact that the furniture and lighting give out a mysterious vibe and overall it is nice and cozy. The spa is amazing, room service is great, i liked the gym.
