Laura is an amazing host which makes you feel like you are at home. Rooms are nicely decorated, pool is so refreshing and breakfast was very Good with homemade product (yoghurt, pancakes, jam etc.)

Henry the very friendly manager found us the following day a room without mold smell (a problem arising from the poor drainage in the bathroom). The Thai food at the restaurant was very tasty and the staff willingly replaced the juice in breakfast with a plate of fresh fruit. They also provided us a reasonably priced transportation to the airport. Given that it was the low season -- the oppressive April hot muggy weather -- and we were a few kilometers from the nearest community, the resort was nearly empty and thus quiet. Next to the hotel is a lovely Buddhist complex, the oldest on the island.

I love the quiet and stillness of the place. Reminds me of my childhood home where I used to stay in the mountains during summer breaks. It was cool though there's no AC built-in in the room. I love everything. It's a good thing that the owner was keen to observe the necessity of bathroom close to the room which they are building during our stay. We recommend the place to our friends. I hope they will love SZ Samui as we did.

We had a great time for more than a week with my family with teenage kids. The place is great for a relaxing holiday far away from the busy north east areas of Samui. The bungalows are cosy and recently renovated, and the pool and dining area are comfortable for chilling out after beach days. Wifi is good, which was of help as I needed to occasionally do some work, while kids could play online video games. The location is very good within an greenery area with palm trees, however it is outside of busy towns so it is recommended to rent a motorbike or a car. Direct access to the beach requires a bit of walking while going to restaurants in the area requires transportation. Lipanoi beach (7-8 min by car/motorbike) is great with fine sand and clear water (we were there in early April). We highly appreciated the personal and friendly attitude of the owner Peter who is daily engaged in the place. He gave us many advice on best beaches, restaurants and sightseeing spots in the whole Samui, and all his advice turned out very valuable!
