The rooms are large, spacious and clean, and ours had a lovely ocean view. The continental breakfast was standard(bagels, hard boiled eggs, cereal, etc). Staff was friendly upon check-in, and the location was next to a lovely walking path. Overall it was suitable to our needs.

It was a great location for our travels - we needed a place to sleep and then go the next day to Portland. We loved the three bed option as we were 3 girls and had been sharing for a week of our travels. Very cool 🤗

We spent all our time at the beach. We rented a home for 3 days right across form the beach and we spent all 3 days on the beach or watching the ocean tides rise and fall. Have been to crescent city several times and always have a great time there.

Crescent City is a fantastic spot with stunning views, from its rugged beaches and iconic lighthouse to the friendly locals. The town's museums offer a peek into its history, including a dramatic tale of survival from a tsunami. There are plenty of great places to eat, and the nearby redwood forests are simply breathtaking—a must-see for anyone visiting. In short, Crescent City is a perfect blend of nature, history, and hospitality.

The staff is always nice.
The staff is always nice. I'm always occomodated with a ground floor room.
Even the non-ocean rooms have a little ocean view - but only when the RV place is empty.
It's easy to pack and unpack - just pull up in front of your room.
Don't miss walking to the lighthouse. Check the tides because it's only accessible during a low tide.

We specifically chose Crescent City as a launch for visiting the Redwood Groves nearby. That was an awe inspiring highlight that I highly recommend. The natural beauty of the ocean beaches and harbour area are stunning. The city itself was sadly very depressed and seems desperately in need of an infusion of business upgrades. Many businesses are clised and shuttered.
We did enjoy an excellent seafood meal at a place on the harbour.

Very blah room
If the only requirement for a suite are 2 rooms, frig, microwave with one bathroom, no outside vanity and sinks separate from toilet, then it was ok. Was not expecting just bare essentials and little decor and crowded living area.

Crescent city is a great place to stay, it is close to amazing sites like the Redwood National Park and the coastline is amazing. A fabulous spot take in beautiful sunsets! The visitors Centre was helpful.
The Thai restaurant near us was amazing!
The hotel was well light up, lots of lights very bright made us feel safe. We could see the waterfront from our room on the second floor. It was super close to the restaurants, Jack in the box just down the street stayed open 24 hours. It was super close to the lighthouse and beach at the waterfront park you could actually walk there or drive in like 5 minutes. The parking area was all in the front of the hotel and the hotel wrapped around it so make your car seem protected. The price was the best in town
We were told we would have a two bedroom suite and instead we got a regular two bedroom. The woman said that it wasn’t a pet friendly room, but I could have it anyway and when I went in it smelled of old, stale, cigarettes, and dog urine. The room was dirty and I took a towel and cleaned up the bathroom floor because it looked in so there was urine all over the floor.
Friendly owners, super clean and tidy rooms, comfy beds, and the cutest little toilets.
And its history is amazing! The entire lodge and every room was built from one huge redwood tree!
Close to the beautiful Crescent City Harbor, with lots of great little restaurants withing walking distance. The best!
Highly recommended!

We were delayed because of a fire and rock slide east of Crescent City on 199. They closed the highway. Had to change route adding 5 hours to out trip. when we got to hotel, they had our room & key ready for us. Wasn’t in the office but a couple minutes. That was nice since we we’re exhausted.
This was the perfect location if you are staying in crescent city, it’s right across from the ocean/lighthouse where the sun sets. The price was absolutely right, there is a hot tub after after a long day of hiking and free breakfast :) staff was very responsive to any needs
I absolutely loved my stay at this motel - it’s in a dream location and was incredible value for money. The staff were great and helped us make the most of our short stay by guiding us through the best walking routes. We finished off our day drinking beer by the fire pit.
Big rooms in a clean hotel that stands out because of the originality of the lighthouse touch (unlike other boring hotels from the typical franchises). The staff was very nice and attentive. Simple but good continental breakfast is included.
The staff were very friendly and helpful; even baking cookies for the firefighters in residence. There was enough parking and the hotel is easy to locate. The location was fine for experiencing the Redwood Forest.
Convenient location for a one-night stay as a roadtrip stopover, with rooms that have at least seen some vague "remodelling" in the last century as opposed to many other motels in the area.
The motel is a little older but I did have ocean views and the layout of the room is perfect and way better than modern motels. The beds were huge and the tv was easy to use.
