I will definitely book again. The manager, Adam, is awesome and is very kind and helpful. The cleaning staff are amazing and work very hard to keep the rooms and grounds very clean. DUTCH BROS RIGHT ACROSS THE STREET RALIBERTO'S EXCELLENT MEXICAN FOOD 2-3 BLOCKS AWAY. LAUNDRY MAT RIGHT ACROSS THE STREET! SAFE PARKING VERY PRIVATE AND COMFORTABLE!! Easy highway, beach, NHRA RACETRACK, freeway access, large grocery store not far (Target, gas stations, CVS, and very short drive to Eureka dog park too!) There are renovations going on at the hotel, but no interruptions or loud noises late at night. I never ever heard any neighbors and never was told they heard my TV late ar night when I fell asleep! Super comfy beds and pillows I've stayed twice (1-2 weeks at a time) for work and always am very happy with the privacy to work and my dog is rarely alerted to anyone outside, there's very little foot traffic compared to other more expensive places in Eureka. I will definitely book here again. All front window staff and on-site managers are excellent! As a single female, I was very comfortable and very safe. Thank you, Adam and all staff. You made my stay very welcoming and very comfortable!! You all are awesome!!

Sequoia Cottage, Holiday Inn Express & Suites Eureka, an IHG Hotel, and Eureka Inn, Trademark Collection by Wyndham got great room view-related reviews from travelers in Eureka.
The ocean and the red woods are the best best part about our trip.. We did have a difficult time find good place to eat with good service. Next we will ask local to point us in the right direction for the best food.
Upon arriving in Eureka, a sense of gratitude can be felt, as travel to this sea-side city isn't a simple trek. Either way one might enter, the city offers many dining options as well as plentiful booking opportunities if one plans on staying for more than a day. Traveling Dashers and gig workers be warned, there is VERY limited work opportunity here including the sister city of Fortuna. Scheduling in advance may be helpful, however if one relies on their delivery work as a means of paying for fuel and room, things can become grim fairly quickly if not prepared. For those not concerned by societal pre-requisits, the city is host to many fun experiences for outdoors enthusiasts / those seeking oceanside treks. Coastal exploration is seemingly integrated into the cities overal design and makes for much of the history which it has been built upon. There are some big name shopping outlets to be explored, like Walmart and The Home Depot to name a couple. And with that said, one can also expect to encounter the more poverty ridden social classes in abundance (I say this with respect to the lesser fortunate, as I myself am without a home nor a place to wash clothes or shower even). I will not sugar coat the reality of what one may find in their travels to Eureka, as I believe that genuine reviews with honesty and realism bring about positive change (or we can only hope so). All in all, if you're just traveling the coastal highways and learning to find yourself once again, Eureka is a much needed stop along your route. Whether to fuel up and move out onward wherever, or stay a night or more, here one can always find what they're looking for.
So I went down to vollunteer/work at the Redwood Coast Music Festival and get a mini vacay and do some travelling. The music is fabulous at this venue. The people are friendly, and nice. I love the old architecture buildings and homes and I wish I would of had more time to explore this trip before heading back up. Next time I will have a more thought out itinerary. The Veterans Memorial Building is beautiful. So is the Eureka Theatre. I pretty much brought my own food and a hot plate because I was on a budget. Other than a cheeseburger I got to share with my dog...and she loved that. The motel is dog friendly...I like that alot. I take my dog everywhere when I travel. Gas is a little spendy right now. I am amazed that gas is cheaper in Idaho 4.11 Oregon 5.60. yet over 7.00 on the coast for regular when California is on the ocean and quicker to shipping.
Sequoia Park and Arcata Community Reserve were amazing and free of charge. Fort Humboldt was a let down as all but 1 building was closed. Samoa cookhouse was a let down as the staff seemed confused as to where to seat us and the food was not that good. The fried chicken was very good but the rest of the meal was just ok.
Eureka is a charming little town on Humbolt Bay. We went to get out of the valley heat and enjoyed every moment of the cooler weather. We traveled up to Arcata for a day and enjoyed both hiking in the Redwood’s and the Farmers Market in Arcata Plaza. Trinidad was foggy but the hike up to the lighthouse was well worth it. We took a tour of the Bay on the Madaket, the oldest continuously running boat in the US. So many things to do. We would have loved to stay longer.
Eureka is an old Native American haven, lumbering, and gold rush town with lots of history, near the ocean and evergreen woods. It offers a wide choice of things to do and see. The weather varies from foggy and damp to bright and sunny. Old Town Eureka is fun with Victorian themed buildings.
Eureka
Location was great if one wanted to be at the downtown old Eureka location. The pictures looked so good, it looked like a new house. However, it is one of the 100 plus (guessing) year old Victorian houses in Eureka, incredibly re-finished with many of the old/existing charms, but will all modern appliances and amenities.
Eureka
Breakfast was a definite high point to a great stay. The Inn is an historic home on a quiet residential street in Eureka. The grounds are beautiful with a comfortable area to sit in the garden. Our generous room was on the top floor. It included a bedroom, bathroom, sitting room and kitchen.
This hotel has all you expect from a good 2 star hotel. It is conveniently located, has ample parking space, the rooms are clean, the bed was comfy, the people in the reception are friendly. No fancy stuff or thrills, but it should not be expected. All in all - it is a good choice.
The cabins were super cute and my lil family loved them! Plus the outdoor pool and hot tub was just right for the cool Eureka weather. We really enjoyed our stay there. Plus for dog owners they are pet friendly and have their own dog run! (;
This is a very comfortable and clean hotel on the south side of Eureka. The staff were all great. Our room was comfortable and very quiet. The breakfast choices were abundant and the staff was there to keep everything fresh and replenished.
When we travel to Eureka,California we always try to book with the Comfort Inn. The only little bleep was we couldn't watch some of TV programs because the channels weren't available. Until next time thank you for everything.
Eureka
The room was clean, and the staff friendly. We only stayed one night because we were traveling north, and literally just spent the night. It's ok for a motel, but if I were to go back to Eureka I'd search for another place.
Room was spacious, with refrigerator, microwave and coffee machine. Towels and sheets looked new and felt fresh. Short walking distance to downtown and historic Eureka town. The staff was polite.
Best hot tub I have experienced in a hotel. Breakfast was also included and excellent. Limo service (free) was also a nice touch.
Walking distance to restaurants and parts of Eureka we like to see. Liked the covered parking, staff always super
