The location for my purposes was great. Beautiful grounds well off the busy road, although when sitting outside the traffic could be heard. No breakfast but coffee and tea available as was a microwave.

Lovely inn, beautifully maintained older building with spacious rooms and bathrooms. Bath products were first class. Our room had a fireplace which opened to both the room and the bath, we didn't use it in July! Breakfast is a nice basket of selected goodies. We ate ours on the side porch.

We had a complimentary upgrade to a suite with a king sized bed a Jacuzzi and a spacious sitting room with a deck. The receptionist was very friendly knowledgeable and gave us a great recommendation for dining.

The very generous breakfast offered by Barrows House is served at one of two nearby locations, both owned by Barrows' parent corporation: The Inns of Dorset. One was a half block away - the Dorset Bakery and was truly wonderful. More that we could eat on our first breakfast day so on the second we ordered a la carte and didn't waste a delicious bite. The staff is unbelievably friendly and helpful. Among the best we have had on our extensive travels.

    It was off the main road to my work location. It was clean, the staff was very kind and the chocolates were yummy and not very expensive. However I was not able to sleep beyond 2am as something kept waking me up every morning at 1am, then 2am, then 3am and this made me have memory issues and problems where I worked. Stayed at hotels for 2 weeks prior and had no problem sleeping. Something had to trigger this and not sure what was going on around me but something woke me up.

    We needed a late check-in and the managers made that available by leaving the key in a box. The Inn didn't serve breakfast but they had coffee available and non-dairy milk, which we appreciated. There was a coffee maker in the room with coffee and tea (but not decaf tea). The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, the area was quiet, there were a closet and plenty of drawer space, and a lamp on each side of the bed. We stayed two nights and were comfortable.

    The property was breathtaking right away driving up! First impression was WOW! Our hosts were very friendly and welcoming and so inviting. We were able to bring our pup and that made us so happy. The room was clean and fresh and the bed was so comfortable! Vermont is a beautiful place and the Aerie Inn is a gem! We WILL be back.

    The inn was spotless. Plenty of new-ish towels Sheets were new-ish and spotless. The bathroom was spotless. Nice little touches like chocolates and fancy shampoo The stuff couldn't be nicer Even the coffee was very nice
