Very affordable and good location. Clean and comfortable
Overall Gulfport is a beautiful place to visit. So much to do...rather fishing walking in the very nice parks, lodging on the beach eating or going to the casino. And let's not forget shopping at the Outlet mall. It really is a nice vacation spot. Wild wings is very affordable and has very good food. Texas Roadhouse is a good one as well. There was nothing extremely negative about this trip.

Clean room with a comfy bed at a good price.
Clean room with a comfy bed at a good price. Breakfast was solid and coffee was actually pretty decent. Heater in the room was loud and cycled on multiple times per hour making getting a good night sleep challenging.

Gulfport is wonderful!
Gulfport is wonderful! Area restaurants are great, always someplace to go for good music and seafood! Traffic is easy to work with. Some public transportation for local things. Try to fly into Gulfport/Biloxi instead of New Orleans. Easy drive (85 min.) to NOLA.

Beach was OK. Water is not good at all.

If you get a late start going out at night, you might want to make plans in advance to make sure you can find a place to eat. We were there on Memorial Day. Nothing was going on, there wasn’t any traffic- no people roaming around, nothing!! Activity centers closed at 10pm.

I love Gulfport!
I love Gulfport! The outlets are there, casinos, beach and lots of nice places to eat. There are plenty of things to do for everyone. It is only four hours from where I live so not a bad weekend trip! The outlets have lots of nice shops to shop at. It is really big. The have casinos in town if you are into that. They have endless hotels, restaurants, lovely beach and places to shop. You are not far from New Orleans if you want to go into Florida so all the way around a central area. I love it!

I was so hard to find at night.
I was so hard to find at night. We saw it from I-10, but for the life of me, we could not figure out how to get to the front of the motel. We tried the Flying J and Wendy's, but I guess we had to work around Wendy's. It was too dark to even be sure of the road and then it had turns that were hard to see.
The Oasis Resort is very beautiful! Plenty of parking, plenty of rooms, very quiet surroundings, super friendly staff, and the water part was so much fun for my kids! The resort is close to the ocean, a number of shopping places, and many restaurants.
The lady at the front desk was my absolute favorite person! She was personable and friendly. She helped with food recommendations and fun things for us to do around Gulfport.
Hotel undergoing renovations by the Pep Boys (Manny, Moe, and Jack)! Rooms were unclean. Poor value for the money. Also didn’t feel safe as someone tried to break in our room after midnight. From the looks of some of the other doors at the place, this should not have been a surprise. Dog kennels are better taken care of.
We stay at the Courtyard by Marriott in Gulfport every time we visit the coast. It's our go to place. The location is perfect, staff are always so friendly and welcoming and the rooms are big and comfortable (plus the beach view is fab!). Great local restaurants and coffee shops on the doorstep too.
I have booked several hotel rooms in Gulfport and Biloxi and for the price you cannot beat Comfort Suites. The rooms are clean and roomy. The complimentary breakfast is varied and plentiful. The staff is friendly and helpful. I believe that Comfort Suites is the best value for the money.
The first room we got smell lots like weed
The 2 one was dirty I was too tired to complain got really bad neighbors call the front desk she went and told them to keep it down but didn't made no difference couldn't get any rest
Hotel was located next to the highway which was great.
Premium Outlet mall was across the street. Wal-mart was down the street. Airport was 5 minutes down the road.
Breakfast was good. Enough variety to choose from
Everything. By far my favorite hotel. Staff is always friendly and fun to talk to. Room is always clean and relaxing. I feel at home everytime I stay. Best hotel on the coast.
convenient location and very clean. this was the first time in a long time that I stepped into a hotel room and *didn’t* feel like I needed to fumigate the whole place!
