it is good for a few days, the restuarant is a bit tiny and no breakfast. but overall better than a motel on the road.

33 Main was not only extremely comfortable and sylishly appointed, but also well positioned for any exploration of the Berkshires in general. The breakfast at the hotel itself was fantastic, and Lenox boasts several excellent restaurants that we enjoyed in the evenings.

A beautiful western Massachusetts town, very walkable, with nice boutiques and galleries. We visited in October, so some restaurants had closed for the season. We, however,
were fortunate to have an incredible meal at Firefly Gastropub. It was popping the night we were there! We had seats at the bar and were attended by the amazing bartender who must have been wearing roller skates! I highly recommend a visit to the area.

Great town for wonderful restaurants, super quirky shops (and a Judaica store) and perfect location to October Mount, Monument Mount, Great Barrington, Tanglewood, Edith Wharton home, and all the hikes and running trails you could wish for.

If you go to a concert on a Sunday hardly any restaurants are open. If there are any, they don't open until 5 pm which is too late when going to a concert. You need reservations a month or so in advance. No 4 or 5 star hotels. Tanglewood is a wonderful venue to see live music and Canyon Ranch Spa is fabulous

Everything is broken or out of order and the "breakfast"...
Everything is broken or out of order and the "breakfast" that they offer is yogurt, cheap muffins and cheap coffee. The beds are cheap and hard, the pillows are cheap and flat, we didn't have a comforter-we had two sheets and some sort of runner across the foot of the bed. The hair dryer and refrigerator were broken. The advertised pool is empty and filthy. Seriously, there are other hotels that are right around this price point, worth the extra few dollars to pick a different place.

Lenox is a beautiful, historical and authentic town in the heart of the Berkshires that keeps drawing me back. The winding tree-lined roads that lead to the Inns, wonderful restaurants and shops, and classic homes, set amongst the backdrop of mountains, make it truly enchanting.

Lenox is beautiful as are the surrounding areas of Lee, Stockbridge, and Pittsfield. The people were welcoming and the area lovely and quaint. It was our first trip to the Berkshires and to this property but not our last. We enjoyed the countryside, the hiking areas such as Kennedy Park, and the local shops and restaurants. One of our favorite spots was the Starving Artist bistro. The food and service was excellent. We snagged an outdoor table and had lunch. We also enjoyed sitting on our patio at the property listening to the pond and the birds. All equally enjoyable.
We love the hot tub in the pool area. It’s clean and spacious and not usually overcrowded. The rooms are very clean and welcoming. The front desk staff are very accommodating. The breakfast is also more
Extensive than just muffins and coffee. The coffee is very good btw! We have tried quite a few different hotels in the area while attending Masses at The National Shrine of Divine Mercy in Stockbridge, just a few miles away. We will only stay here moving forward.
Quick check-in process. Good sized room with a fridge and hot drink maker.
The included breakfast was very good from cereals, bread and muffins and the hot option was nice - scrambled egg and sausages. Fresh fruit. Waffle maker although we didn't use this.
Availability of a heated indoor pool was nice although we didn't use it on this trip.
Nice touch to add a list of recommended restaurants and distance to the hotel in the room.
Welcoming staff, great location just off the main streets in Lenox. This is a beautifully maintained and elegant old inn of character. Bedroom space was generous (king bedroom) and there were nice touches like continuous coffee, apple cider and snacks in the breakfast room beside reception. The area was brimming with Fall colour. Lenox is a great starting point for touring this part of the Berkshires.
Our expectations were not very high, so we were surprised at the level of accommodation. The room was the largest of any of the 10 hotels we stayed at on a 14 day trip. The towels were the softest of any other hotel, and the breakfast was better than we anticipated. Considering the other high-priced alternatives in Lenox, HJ was a treat.
Fantastic location in Lenox. The Dewey is a beautiful historic inn and a lovely place to stay. Rooms are very comfortable. We really appreciated being moved to room 12 as the fridge was very useful. Breakfast was simple but adequate, and we enjoyed it. Granola, yoghurt, fresh blueberries, blueberry muffins, bagels and English muffins.
Whistlers is the classic old school bed and breakfast - a house filled with antiques and memories and lots of character. It is family run and they care about the guests. This is standard NOT box hotel but if you enjoy sitting in the reading room with a glass of sherry this is your place
Breakfast was delicious and the location was great! Very comfortable inn with a great lounge area and bar with a puzzle 🧩 to complete! Easy access to everything and everywhere. The staff was very friendly and attentive to all requests and concerns!
There were a lot of nice amenities, little extra touches.
The restaurant/lounge area was great.
The bed was comfortable, and the room was clean and welcoming.
Parking was easy and close to room door.
Let me have a late checkout at noon.
It was a great location and near restaurants in Lenox. The property in its entirety must have been beautiful at one time. The rooms are highly outdated and wallpaper is slowly coming off the walls. This place could use an update
This hotel was pretty much on par with other Hampton Inns. Other than a weird sticky substance on the night stand light switches (ugh), our room was very clean, which is most important to me. The bed was quite comfortable.
Location was perfect. Rooms were clean, Staff very helpful and friendly and made sure we had a perfect stay! Hotels in this area are as little older however for the price and cleanliness, it was perfect.
Gateways was the perfect place for our stay. It's a beautiful old house in the heart of Lenox with friendly, caring staff who will ensure your stay is memorable. It exceeded expectations in every way.
Well located within walking distance of the shops and restaurants of Lenox. Very large and well-prepared breakfast with lots of choices. Friendly staff who were rapidly responsive.
A great place to stay when in Lenox or going to Tanglewood. The Terrace room accommodations are OK, but the main house is excellent. Breakfast is your typical US buffet.
