Kemble Inn and Table Six Restaurant Excellent 8.7 Public areas were very nice . Our bath was excellent . Bedroom drapes and bed coverings were also high end and beautiful , however the tables and other furniture were dated and in worn condition. Overall we enjoyed the Inn and the restaurant , we are returning for another night this week !
Knights Inn Lenox Okay 5.6 We had an awesome room very big, and pet friendly.
Whistler's Inn Very good 8.1 Very much enjoyed meeting the hosts- the Mears Family-warm, interesting, well traveled folks who obviously take pride in running their B&B in this beautiful, historic home. The grounds and home were lovely and well maintained. The Inn is a very short walk to Lenox town center which has many restaurants, shops, a good book store, grocery store, library, etc. Breakfast served 8:30-10:30 AM is served buffet style with many choices of whole grain, fresh, home- baked goods, fresh fruit, fritatas, quiches, turkey sausage, orange juice and delicious fresh brewed coffee. We stayed in the "Garden Room" which is actually a lower level of the owner's home-located in an out building, and therefore "new construction" vs the "historic rooms" of the original home. Very quiet and restful space with private entrance, well appointed bath, private outdoor sitting area looking out to beautiful grounds. The room is lined with shelves, filled with many interesting books on history, travel and politics and comfortable leather chairs to sit in and read them. The experience of staying in this room is akin to visiting friends and staying in their guest room/library.. The location is very quiet and we enjoyed some of the best sleep eve, on the super comfortable queen sized bed.! The Lenox area, of course, is filled with many cultural opportunities. We availed ourselves of the opportunity to attend Tanglewood twice,( the road the Inn is located on is a "back road" to Tanglewood and one arrives and returns, in a flash-ask them where to park at Tanglewood to facilitate this), enjoyed Shakespeare & Co's-very entertaining production of ":Mid-Summer Night's Dream", & visited the "new" Clark Museum, as well as 'Arrowhead" home of Herman Melville.
The Rookwood Inn Very good 8.2 Location is terrific. Staff is warm and friendly. Nice hot breakfast. Room was cozy and comfortable.
Birchwood Inn Excellent 8.6 Loved the breakfast and afternoon tea.
Wheatleigh
Cranwell Resort, Spa and Golf Club Excellent 8.6 We loved the beautiful location, so close to Tanglewood and other destinations. From the moment you arrive, you feel a great calm at the Cranwell. This is an ideal place to relax and un-wind. The room was superb as well as the breakfast menu. We plan to return here for a stay.
