Offering a restaurant, the property also has a shared lounge, as well as a sauna and a hot tub.... One of the my best stays in Iceland. Enjoyed the outdoor hot bath, which the property also offers indoor sauna (but note operational at selected timings only). The room is lovely with a window overseeing the 'boat on the dock'. There is a common area for people to gather and chat, with central heating in the centre. The breakfast buffet was great too, served in the restaurant, and you get to enjoy nice views as well ... however, they close the restaurant when breakfast is over, meaning all patrons will be asked to adjourn elsewhere. The bar is open in the evenings, but pretty pricey so go easy on the alcohol :)

Located in Ölfus, 30 miles from The Pearl, Hotel Kvika has accommodations with a garden, free private parking, a terrace and a bar. The hotel is located in a beautiful, scenic area. We arrived late, but the letter and room key were waiting for us at the reception. The hotel has many cozy seating areas and good Wi-Fi. Outside, there is a sauna and hot tubs – it was a wonderful opportunity to relax. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful.

There is a hot tube near a picturesque stream, dinner is offered. We had a cheeseburger and lamb. Delicious ! The rooms are spacious and have everything you need. The breakfast is delicious. We especially want to thank Łukasz for his help, understanding and smile.

Opened in June 2018, Hotel 1001 Nott offers modern accommodations 3.1 mi from Egilsstadir. The hotel features outdoor hot tubs overlooking Lake Lagarfljót. There is also an on-site bar. amazing view, excellent breakfast
