Conveniently set in the center of Porto, Ribeira Douro Hotel has 2-star accommodations close to Palacio da Bolsa and Ferreira Borges Market. The hotel was in a quiet location but within minutes walk of the River Douro and all its facilities, restaurants, entertainment, and with lots of things to see and do. We found it a relaxing haven to get away from the crowds. Tea and coffee- making facilities were provided in our room, which was quite spacious. There was an excellent choice for breakfast to suit all tastes. Above all we found all the staff to be very friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. We stayed there on two separate occasions both before and after our river cruise and thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Located in Porto, 1.8 miles from FC Porto Museum, Hotels 705 Porto Prime Home provides accommodations with a fitness center, private parking, a garden and a terrace. This 4-star hotel offers a bar. We loved staying here so much we extended an extra day. They were very accommodating. We arrived early and got us in right away. The staff also helped us find a lost charger. The staff were so friendly, always willing to help and give us tips. The bed was very comfortable and the rooms large and very clean. We also made use of the parking, ample and easy to enter and exit.

Featuring 3-star accommodations, Holiday Inn Express Évora by IHG is located in Évora, a 10-minute walk from Cathedral of Evora Se and half a mile from Roman Temple of Evora. Very good location, near the city gate (outside the gate, but that's good, if you have a car). You could park car in front of the hotel, on the street or in the underground car parking. City centre is less than 10 min. on foot. Very new hotel with all modern equipment, big room, nice shower, very good breakfast. So, it was the best hotel during my trip in Alentejo (among 7 or 8 others). My recommendations.

Located in Tomar, 22 miles from Sanctuary of Our Lady of Fatima, Estalagem Santa Iria Hotel & Spa provides accommodations with a garden, free private parking, a restaurant and a bar. Absolutely everything. The staff were excellent. Attention to detail for our birthday. Food superb. The female receptionist was so knowledgeable about this town. We hope to make this the first of many try’s to Tomar. Thank you to every staff member. Wonderful experience
