Conveniently set in the center of Porto, Ribeira Douro Hotel has 2-star accommodations close to Palacio da Bolsa and Ferreira Borges Market. A heartfelt thank you to the entire staff for their exceptional care, both before and during our stay. They went above and beyond to accommodate my gluten-free needs and helped organize a surprise for my mom’s birthday. They even arranged for a beautiful bouquet of flowers, which was presented to her during breakfast, moving her to tears—a truly touching moment. The property is stunning, intimate, with exposed stone walls, an impeccable design, and spotlessly clean. The breakfast was fantastic, offering plenty of variety, and I loved the thoughtful touch of cakes, water, and coffee available throughout the day. Such a lovely idea! The location is perfect, right in front of the Douro River. I highly recommend booking a room with a view on the fourth floor! Just outside, you'll find charming riverside restaurants, perfect for both quiet evenings and livelier settings. There’s music in the streets, yet the hotel remains a peaceful haven. I absolutely adored the high ceilings and the overall atmosphere. Thank you for your professionalism and for making our stay so memorable. Highly recommended!

The hotel lies inside a beautiful park, so there are lovely views all around, and it’s if you want to get out for a walk you’re already in a natural setting within the town. Our children enjoyed the pool, where you could swim both indoors and outdoors. The staff was friendly and helpful, and kind to our children. Breakfast had many options and we also had a nice meal at the restaurant in the evening.

We spent five beautiful, relaxing days in Lisbon, and our stay at the hotel certainly contributed to that. The rooms were super clean, the service was attentive, and the hotel's location was great. The rooms were exactly as promised by the photos. It was especially nice that we could check in before 3:00 PM, allowing us to relax a bit after an early flight before exploring the city.
