Theodore Apartments, hotel in Zacharo

We absolutely loved our stay at Theodore Apartments in Zacharo! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warmth and hospitality. The apartments were clean, cute, and incredibly spacious, providing us with all the comfort and convenience we needed. One of our favorite features was the wonderful balcony that offered a nice view of the surrounding area. The sight of the lot filled with beautiful trees added to the serene ambiance, making our stay even more delightful. What truly set Theodore Apartments apart was the exceptional care and kindness of Mr. Theodore, the owner. He went above and beyond to ensure that we had a memorable experience. We were pleasantly surprised when he informed us that we were welcome to pick and enjoy any fruits from the trees on the property. It was such a unique and delightful experience to indulge in fresh, organic fruits right from the source. Moreover, his daughter demonstrated her attentiveness and professionalism. She promptly notified us about some items we had accidentally left behind in the apartment, and she took great care to keep it safe until we were able to retrieve it. We highly recommend Theodore Apartments for anyone looking for a longer stay in the beautiful town of Zacharo. Whether you're seeking a peaceful retreat, exploring the natural surroundings, or simply looking to unwind, this is the perfect place to call home. With clean and spacious apartments, a wonderful balcony, and a genuinely kind and accommodating owner, we couldn't have asked for a better experience. We'll definitely be back!

Mina Apartments features air-conditioned rooms in Zacharo. This beachfront property offers access to a balcony, free private parking, and free Wifi.

+Hospitality (long text below) +Family style +Big and wonderful garden, backyard with a vegetable garden and BBQ area +Fully equipped kitchen and everything for cooking +Very clean (even walls and top of the furniture) The owners of this place are very hospitable and find a common language with guests even despite the language barrier. The owner's family together gave us a tour of their garden, told us what was growing there, about life in Greece and its features, and treated us like a family. They also give us a lot of their fruit from the garden in the backyard and their property. I would like to give it an 11 for such service and hospitality, but booking limited it by 10! This is not a hotel, but a full-fledged family home and it's a kind of oasis in Greece thanks to such hospitality! I would recommend this location to everyone, especially foreigners who want to stay for a long period of time and completely immerse themselves in the atmosphere of local culture!)

Phyllida Guest House - A2, hotel in Zacharo

Providing a garden, Phyllida Guest House - A2 provides accommodations in Zacharo. This property offers access to a patio, free private parking, and free Wifi.

Our stay at Phyllida Guest House was exceptional, thanks to the attentive and generous hospitality of Aggeliki, our friendly hostess. After a tiring trip, which included our car breaking down just before Tripolis, our hostess welcomed us with genuine warmth and immediately served up some delicious food, including dakos salad and zucchini fritters (yummy!). The room was cozy, clean, equipped with a toaster and kettle to make our breakfast and tea and with a beautiful private garden. Aggeliki, an artist, had even given the surrounding houses an artistic touch by painting the key chains and some other objects. During our stay, she provided us with valuable suggestions for restaurants and activities to make the most out of our time. Throughout our stay, we felt cared for and comfortable. The booking process via booking.com was seamless, and the peaceful surroundings ensured that we slept soundly every night. During our last night, there was a wedding celebration next to the property of Phyllida which kept us a little awake, but our hostess informed us a lot earlier about the festivities and even allowed us a late check-out next day for free! In addition to its overall charm, one of the standout features of Phyllida Guest House is its wonderful garden, adorned with vibrant flowers and lush greens. The serene surroundings create a sense of peacefulness, allowing guests to fully unwind and embrace the silence of the countryside. All in all, we couldn't have asked for a more perfect stay at Phyllida Guest House. We will return, that’s for sure! Thank you so much, Aggeliki, for everything! See you next year or wishfully earlier!

Zakharo is a small village near the coast.

Zakharo is a small village near the coast. It has all the essentials (super markets, restaurants, coffee shops etc), so one can spend his stay there without the need to move to other places. However, there are no much activities you can do with the kids, so it would be wise to pick a hotel that offers kids activities. The beach is quite nice and sandy, however if the wind is Western, the waves will be high enough to prevent you from swimming. The food was really nice in almost all the restaurants we visited and the prices quite reasonable. If I would visit the broader area again I would choose to go to a place with beaches facing South, as western winds are the most common in there and create high waves to almost all beaches.

It's a convenient place to stay if you want to go to the sea, drive to some scenic roads and landscapes to the mountains or to ancient Olympia. The village itself it's not so nice but it' s not ugly either. My favorite restaurant: 'To Petrino'.

In June the beach was not crowded. The beach was a nice sandy beach and it was easy to swim and play in the water with kids. Close to the apartment was a lovely tavern and the town is also a walk away with more variety of services. It was easy to do day trips to ancient sites from Zacharo.

Spacious and comfortable stay. Eleni, our hostess, was very attentive to our needs. The house was equipped with everything (microwave, toaster, dish washer , washing machine, dryer, you name it). Salt , pepper , oregano , and oil were already in the cupboards, which are very helpful for short stays. I can not remember if we really missed something The beaches are very close and Zacharo too. The garden is spacious with a huge area with grass. We could easily park two cars .Overall, we were happy to visit Villa Eleni.

A great place in a beautiful small town. We enjoyed visiting and learning more about the Grecian village life during our stay. It was a nice visit between touristy areas to experience village life. Close to many cafes, mini markets, restaurants, and the beach. Eleni and kakovatos studios is a hidden gem. She was there for everything we needed and made us feel like we were at home. This was our first time visiting Greece and we have been so welcomed here. I am looking forward to our next trip here.

The apartment is located 5 min by feet from the center. To the wonderful 'Zacharo Beach' it takes online 6 min by car. We really enjoyed our stay, the apartment is furnished with a living room/kitchen (including an oven)with a big couch and a TV, a room with a big bed and a bathroom with a laundry machine. It was perfectly clean. The host was nice and very helpful, tue communication was pretty easy and fast. I highly recommend to stay there, it was very comfortable and private! Thanks!

The atmosphere of the hotel is very cozy. Nicely furnished and decorated. We were among the first guests of the season, so there was a slight issue with getting hot water pumped up to the third floor. But the staff had it fixed right away. The big and wonderful surprise was the exceptional breakfast with an amazing selection of home made cakes and pies, four different ways to make coffee and a huge selection of good tea. All the staff were very kind and helpful, and we had a great stay

The Rex Hotel was a delightful surprise. Wonderful, responsive host and staff who went out of their way to make our stay as comfortable and relaxed as possible. The lavish breakfasts were amongst the best I've ever had. So many delicious, freshly made tarts, pies and cakes in addition to an extensive range of other high quality offerings make this hotel one of the more unique and special places my friends and I have stayed. We can't wait to go back.

Everything was perfect. Each room has a big terrace, the room itself is spacious enough and there is also a well-equipped kitchenette. The bathroom was good and of a decent size. A long sandy beach is just 3-minute walk from the Olympion studios. Great place for families with kids, but also perfect for middle-aged couples like us. This is our new best ever summer destination. For our next trip to Greece, we don't have to look for anything better.

The host was very friendly and attentive and the place is generally very homey. The hotel is a little old but extremely clean and well reserved. My single room was big and the bed was very comfortable. Hot water 24/7 and even though I stayed off-season and they didn't have many other guests at the time, the hostess offered to serve breakfast just for me! I would definitely recommend!

Don't expect a typical Booking.com place. It is a mixture of hotel, hostel and camping. All in and around Yiannis' house. A wonderful place to relax and interact with other people at the same time. I wanted to stay two nights, but ended up staying four. Don't be afraid of the dogs, they are calm and will leave you alone.

The hotel is situated away from the busy streets, in the older part of the village. The view is fantastic and the evening breeze is welcome. In front of the hotel on the town square is a small taverna serving excellent Greek food. No need to go very far. The staff/owner was very friendly and accommodating.
