This was honestly a hidden gem! It was absolutely spotless, extremely comfortable, and had everything you need. The host also provides a fridge in the room which was super handy. Not only that, it was only a short walk from places like the Bear Pit, Old Town, multiple viewpoints, and the river, or a short bus/tram journey to the main train station. I absolutely loved every minute of my stay here, and the host was absolutely lovely- even when I managed to have issues with the door at gone 10pm, she was nothing but helpful and kind! I couldn't recommend staying here more, it truly felt like a home away from home. I can't understand how it isn't fully booked constantly! (My second night, I was the only one there!) If you're looking for a place to stay in Bern, honestly look no further!

She even gave us a two day Bern travel pass so we could use the trams.The pool was lovely and we could relax in her garden. Breakfast was amazing.

In Art Nouveau-style, Apartments Justingerweg is a 10-minute walk from the Old Town, the Clock Tower and the Cathedral. It is a 10-minute walk from Bern Zoo and 100 metres from Thunplatz Bus Stop. Maxine is a wonderful host, very kind and accommodating. The apartment is spacious and in a perfect location.

The location was perfect with buses every 5-6minutes to the Bern station. The bus runs via all Bern city attractions. There was a grocery shop in 3 minutes walk which is very convenient.

The location amazing, take a two minute walk and you are in the city center! The apartment was very clean, it had all the utilities and the bed was very comfortable. There is also an Apple TV in the living room. Despite the location of the apartment was a little above street level, it was very quiet. Host was kind and responsive.

The location cannot get any better and is right at the bridge of the Aare river, offering stunning views. Everything you need is at your door step- restaurants for delicious local food, leafy forests for hiking, and beautiful old city centre for shopping/ tourism. The living space itself is beautiful- historic with a modern twist. There is an entrance hall, living room with a comfy sofa, 2 lovely bathrooms with large beautiful modern showers, a comfortable kitchen with a fridge and a coffee machine (which makes delicious coffee 24/7), a bedroom with a closet, a small adjusted tv room, and a beautiful spiral staircase. As per other reviewers, there were a lot of tourists around the hotel during the busy hours of the day, but it did not disturb us. The rooms in the first floor, including the bedroom, are well- hidden from the view. The rooms in the ground floor area (kitchen & living room) have transparent window curtains, which do a perfect job of preserving your privacy, while allowing light inside. The noise levels were minimal on the ground floor and almost non-existent on the 1st floor, where the bedroom is. Towels in the bathrooms were large and soft, and you also get slippers and bathrobes. The place is very clean and tidy with daily housekeeping visits. There also were loads of windows, which was great for airing. Breakfast was good, and was delivered contactless to your door in cute boxes and bottles. It included traditional Swiss selection of regular cold meats, cheeses, breads, fresh milk and yogurts, croissants, granola/ cornflakes, juices, and at times also fresh fruit platters with strawberries etc. Throughout the stay, we felt very welcome and well taken care of- the hotel staff went above and beyond. A special thanks to Sara, and to the rest of the team who have made this stay unforgettable! P.S. Watching bears was also a bonus!

Max Aviation Villa & Apartments is located in Bern and offers free WiFi access and a terrace. Shuttle services can be arranged upon request and for a surcharge. Great to have use of a kitchen, garden and terrace. Complimentary coffee available and good selection of teas - much appreciated. The villa is located near a tram stop which goes straight to the town centre in 10 mins, very handy. The staff were very helpful. A relaxed and comfortable stay. It’s a great place to return to after busy days out sightseeing. Would definitely stay again.
