The owners!! Kostha and Shanika were the best hosts ever!! Kostha was so helpful and thanks to him I have been inmerse in the culture and visited new places out of the touristic places. Shanika is an excellent cook and took care when I needed. The place is located in a very nice green area. Kitchen, room and bathroom really clean. I had a lot fun as well. I will never forget my stay there.

The owners of the hostel 'Maliya' are qualified guides in Sri Lanka. He knows a lot about Sri Lanka. He has individual and group tour packages. You don't have to stress. He makes your stay very comfortable. I highly recommend the lake and sunset tour in particular. and safari adventures followed by massage treatments (ask Malia, he knows places with good quality services and good prices). I truly liked the place - clean, simple, with delicious local food and beautiful sunsets. To see the Buddha statue in the temple "next door" is a true bliss. The owners of the hostel are super helpful with anything you need in Sigiriya and Sri Lanka - best food places, ordering tuk-tuks as well as safari and guiding tours.
