Only there for 24 hours but would love to return. A beautiful town. Nice walks near the lake on trails. We rented bikes from Bikeshop Seeboden. The owner was very helpful with information about the trails. We biked on the quiet side of the lake which was perfect. Small but so busy little town (village) with lots tourist. Close to shopping centre (5km) and all shops are walking distans. Lovely lake with clear wather and montain around give you great view, relaxing time,and lots of fun. I like this village, it's located in a beautiful place. But when you come there on Christmas, you might as well just go to another place like Salzbrg, because over Christmas everything is closed and you don't even see people there. Not going to these villages on a public holiday again.

There were not a ton of restaurants nearby, so we went to a place literally up in the Carinthian mountains called Kleinsasserhof, which was weirdly decorated but a unique experience that we'll certainly remember! The lake is very pretty but the town was super sleepy this late in the season.

I hardly find the part of the lake shore with the public acces allowed. More or less everything is privetaly owned. But, the municipality bought a part of land near the lake to enable everyboddy to come to the lake. :)

This is a very quiet area, the silence is guaranteed during the night. The room, bathroom and the separated WC were much larger than ususal, there were lots of space to store personal belongings. There exists a bigger fridge in the room. The breakfast selection was complete, I also liked the machine with selection of coffee and hot chocolate drinks.ZoltánHungary

Buffet had an ample selection of breads, cheeses, cold cuts, fresh milk, coffee, .muesli, yogurt, hard/soft boiled fresh eggs, juices, fruits etc. Apartment was attended to daily by housekeeping. Enough self parking space. The view from our balcony facing the lake was breathtaking.

The house is very nice decorated and well maintained. The place is very cleanly, which we find important. There are four bikes which you can use freely during our stay. A better place to stay near Millstätter See will be hard to find. We felt like home!

We will be definately coming back ☺️
