Alstadt was a great experience. It was ideally located in Salzburg's Old City, within walking distance to most of the tourist sites. Our room was very comfortable, and the hotel staff was incredibly helpful at every turn. |

Very helpful friendly staff. Family run. Breakfast served. Location perfect. Traditional Austrian hotel usually found outside city. Nice introducation to Austria for first time visitor. I think it should be graded 3 star not 4 star and therefore is overpriced. |

This is a family owned and operated hotel...and they are delightful. They welcomed us and watched over us as if we were family friends. They were very helpful at recommending musical events, restaurants, and driving routes. |

I liked how close it was to the main attractions offered in Salzburg. They were very helpful in suggesting things to see and offering help in other ways. I would stay there again. |

The staff was great. Very helpful when we had questions. The hotel is close to all the sights near the Fortress. The only real negative we had was that we did not have enough time to enjoy the hotel more. We would like to have stayed much longer, but my job called. If you are driving in, all hotels, repeat all, close to the Fortress are inside a parking zone with a guard. It was very hard getting in the first time. We were actually rejected once. I immediately came back and refused to leave and the guard finally found our name on a list of hotel guests Once we got in and got our pass, we were fine. This is not a problem unique to Weisse Taube. We were not really prepared for this, booking on line. |

Complementary breakfast in the dining room, not buffet style, but served by hotel staff, was good. Minibar and safetybox in the room was very convenient. Many hangers in the wardrobe were very useful, because we had to change our cloths every day and night. Cleaning cars made loud noise every early morning, i.e. 5 am, and we should be awoken during deep sleep. |

The friendly and helpful staff - they were very quick to respond to our comment about the quietness of our room. The breakfast was most adequate. It was in a prime situation. It is a very well run family hotel. We asked about obtaining seats at the music concerts and were not helped by the response. We were told that tickets were 'impossible' to get as they were sold out six months previously. However we did get tickets after taking our own initiative - the staff could have been more helpful to at least encourage us as to how to go about getting tickets, and telling us more about the music festival program. Also, having a room right above the breakfast kitchen when we asked for a quiet room - and even enquired about kitchens when shown to our room was not helpful - but the hotel owners reacted very well to resolve matters - great service. |

Perfectly located in the center of the old town. Our room had view on the castle Hohensalzburg, and was quiet. The staff is very friendly. For guests of more than average height, the beds are rather narrow. |

This is a very good hotel, in an excellent location. The staff were extremely helpful and very friendly. There are no adverse comments about this hotel at all. Of course the rooms are small, but this is a very old hotel and in Europe. |

Excellent location in the Old Town, close to all the important sights. Cosy room with comfortable beds. Only criticism was two-level floor in bathroom - potentially hazardous. Superb service from reception. Good value breakfast included in our rate. Will definitely go back if we stay in Salzburg again. Can't recommend enough. |
