The whole stay was brilliant. So clean and quaint staying in the old 'Horse Stables'.The only disappointment was my fault, as I forgot to help myself to a free wine from the decanter :). Absolutely will stay again. It's a credit to the owners how much care they have put into the property. Well done and see you soon :)

Beautiful town in the centre of lakes, rivers and wilderness.
Visited for the air show but also saw the amazing display of textile art by Annemieke Mein. Fascinating river cruise from the Port of Sale to the engineering marvel that is the swing bridge. Saw heaps of wildlife including a koala!

We found the people of Sale a little strange? Not many say hello and im big on that. The Irish pub had good dinners but all male waiters which we found unusual. The sporting Legends was really good and is much more up market. The Rose fish n chip shop was excellent. Beer was good and cold everywhere.

We enjoyed our visit here- were lucky enough to see the swinging bridge in action, wandered around the Botanic gardens and the Port of Sale. The art gallery had some interesting displays and the information office was helpful. Enjoyed a nice meal at the historic Criterion Hotel. If we had longer we could have done a day trip to Yarram to see the murals.

Sale has a small river port at southern end of town centre where there is also, what appears to be, a new theatre. Plenty of varieties of eateries and some good pubs. A bustling country town which is alive. Has a botanical gardens and most things are within walking distance.
The apartment was spacious and had everything you could possibly want in the kitchen and even a washer and dryer..The views over Sale streets and to a church were interesting and we enjoyed watching Sale wake up every day. The layout of rooms was very good and all the facilities worked very well. The staff could not have been more helpful or accommodating. The downstairs restaurant was excellent and convenient.
Immaculately clean inside and out. The gardens were superbly tidy and inside the property was equally as clean, even the remotes had been sanitised and were in a bag. It is not an ultra modern motel by any means but the staff were lovely and friendly and welcoming and the amenities were clean and comfortable. It was out of town a little but only a 5 minute drive to the shops. Would definitely stay there again.

The location and spacious grounds were great.
The swimming pool was welcome relief as the weather was 39c for 3 consecutive days.
The air-conditioning worked exceptionally well.
The bathrooms were recently updated and the water was hot.
There was a kitchen for general use.
The hosts were extremely helpful and friendly. They were some of the nicest people I met in this area. They gave me a lot of good advice about the surrounding tourist area. The room was clean and tidy. There were towel sets and extra blankets. It was a very comfortable stay.
The setting in the dining room was exquisite - overlooking the garden and expansive lawns. Breakfast was beautifully presented with silver service and home-made conserves. Cooked breakfast was excellent.
A family friendly comfortable place. Great location close to town centre. Friendly staff and owner was kind to offer a free upgrade for us to the 4 bedroom suite. Great value for money highly recommend!
Parking was free. The Shower was good. Check-in was organized over the phone which was a plus, as the hotel was actually closed which was not advertised.
Okay for the price and for one night.
Fantastically clean, helpful staff and the meals we had were excellent. Great location. Facilities were more like a Melbourne boutique hotel. An unexpected surprise for regional Victoria.
