Had a wonderful stay at your hotel! The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful throughout my visit. I particularly appreciated the little extras in the room, like the slippers, razor, and toothbrush. They were lifesavers after a long trip! Overall, a very enjoyable stay.

Trebinje is a nice option for those who would like to see and experience more than just Sarajevo and Mostar. Trebinje is a nice little city hidden in the mountains. Trebinje is a sweet little town on a beautiful river surrounded by mountains. There is so much local food here and everyone is very kind. The daily market in the plaza is a must and make sure to visit the cheese shop as well. Take a walk up the hills to visit the churches or rent a kayak for a leisurely paddle on the river. Trebinje is a gem. It boasts the old town with restaurants, a magnificent position with the clean river flowing through it, and pleasant people. We did not have the time to explore the area around Trebinje, but on our way out we saw that there is plenty to visit and enjoy.LazarNorth Macedonia - 10Scored 10
Trebinje and its surrounding offer many interesting sites...
Trebinje and its surrounding offer many interesting sites for culture vultures. Hercegovacka Gracanica is not only a beautiful, famous church, but also a place where remains of Jovan Ducic were buried. Since the building is on the top of the mountain, you have a breathtaking view of Trebinje from there. Monastery Tvrdos has an interesting interior, because one part of its floor is made of glass, so one can see the old base of the monastery, which is so unbelievable. The monastery produces its own wine - we tried it and it's excellent! Museum of Herzegovina is a spectacular three-story building in the old town and its exhibits range from 1st century AD to present days. Everything is near. If you like hiking, you can walk. If you are not a walker, take a taxi - for average of 3 euros you can get everywhere.

Trebinje is a very picturesque city. The old city, the old mosque, the beautiful river, the bridges, restaurants and a fantastic museum. The general atmosphere is realxed and the people is very welcoming. It is a very nice change from the general mediocrity of the tourist spots. Food is fantastic and prices very reasonable. The place is authentic and the locals are nice for real. Check the market. The valley where Trebinje is located is like out of a movie, surrounded by tall mountains with a river going across the middel of the valley. The surroundings are full of places for sightseeing like old stone villages, monateries, etc and it is only 1/2 hour away from Dubrovnik and aproximately 45 minutes to Herceg Novi in Montenegro. Leaving the EU, its crazy prices and stupid regulations and entering Hercegovina feels like travelling back to the happy 80s and 90s. Great deal.CarlosSpain

Kitchen is well-equipped so you can cook at home otherwise there are a few places not far from the apartment. It is located approx 5-7 minutes from city centre (old town). The are a few grocery stores close to the apartment. Kitchen and balcony have a very nice view overlooking the city, mountains and the river. The bed is comfy and the host is very welcoming. But the best part is friendly stuff, we felt like at home. Location pretty much can't be better than this. Our room had a view at the main square. Also, I taught that parking is not provided, but you can park anywhere in ZONE 1 and they are gonna give you a pass for that zone. So parking is also provided. That was a pleasant surprise.
