The staff, the beautiful location, and the room were all wonderful. Could not have been happier with this romantic get-away. The resort is arranged to maximize the feeling of calm and quiet. We felt extremely well cared for and rested after just a few days here. We had a rental car that we used to do some exploring (especially restaurants) on the island but really could have done without--rides to and from the beach were terrific. The beach was not as described in older reviews but it was, nonetheless, a treat.

the location and layout of the property was great. many choices (very big but not overwhelming) could walk to everything
food was good pretty much everywhere, pools were beautifully laid out and pretty clean for the most part. the cigar bar and piano bar were great as well as the lounge/bar by rosewood.
loved baha bay
loved all the food/drinks, coffee and ice cream options surrounding the beach. some cute stores on the walkway to the beach and marcus restaurant at the end was a nice feature and a great time.

The location was fantastic, quiet with great views. Most of the staff was friendly and helpful (while a few others were not). The Indian food for dinner was delicious!!
Escape the ordinary at Graycliff Hotel and Restaurant, Nassau's landmark mansion.

Everyone is so friendly and helpful! The restaurant is fantastic and the wine cellar is amazing. It is the perfect experience for a romantic, grown-up vacation (away from the busyness of families with kids at the resorts you'll find in Nassau). They have live music in the lounge every night and offer lots of experiences (cigar rolling, wine tasting, yoga) and the pool/garden area is one of a kind! Absolutely gorgepus , quiet and private! It was definitely pricey, but worth every dollar for the kind of experience one can create if traveling solo or with your significant other.

Alicia our host was fantastic and available whenever you needed her. The view is fantastic and the place clean and comfortable. There were two ice cube trays full and waiting for you as there are no ice makers in Nassau.
This is an 8 unit complex that attracts visitors from around the world and the common area outside your sliding door is a wonderful place to meet them in the evening when everyone gathers for the sunset. We have met Spaniards, British, Portuguese, Italians, and many others. There is great snorkeling at a reef 100 feet out with barracuda, rock lobsters, Tangs, brassies, and a host of other species of fish so bring your snorkel equipment. The left gate leads you to a beautiful beach. Getting around the island is easy with their $2 bus service. Just wait outside on the bench and the buses will pass frequently. Take the number 10 or 12 to Fish Fry, Downtown, Fort Charlotte, or anywhere you want to go. They run from about 6am to 6pm.
For travelers who only use carry on for travel the washer/dryer was very handy. Just bring a few laundry pods and you are set.
Again the place was clean and comfortable but not fancy. If you want an affordable place to stay that is located away from the busy tourist places, and a great host then we definitely would recommend Sunset Cove and Alicia.

It has great baches (eg Cabbage Beach) and great tours and activities (eg day tour to Exuma Cays, Swimming Pigs, Snorkeling, SandBars). The restaurants are good enough, but don't expect to much. Street food is very good, though!

Nassau is a very busy place. We only got around by Taxi. We were only there a few days but enjoyed our time there. It is very different from the out lying Islands. Friends spent some time exploring the History and Museums, we just didn't get there. Possibly a Stay out side of Nassau would be more relaxing but the Bahamian Hospitality is evident where ever you go in the Bahamas.

A cruise ship terminal where everyone is smiling but constantly trying to rip you off. At day full of the worst type of cruise ship passengers. Staff bubbly bubbly but entirely insincere. Tacky, horrid, poor levels of service. Taxis have no meters and will not quote in advance.
If you like casino hotel complexes - knock yourself out. You will be overcharge and under serviced. Visited both, both horrid experiences.
Saving graces
- Uko Sushi Bar
- Greycliffe Restaurant
- Day trip to Staniel Cay was stunning. Highly recommended.
Other than those there is NO reason to visit Nassau unless sent by work.

Entering Nassau is like entering the local food chain.
Entering Nassau is like entering the local food chain. I don't really like the hustle of the fish fry but I do enjoy the food! I have always found Bahamians very friendly. It is a nice place to visit. Some things can seem a little run down but you have to remember that the hurricanes beat up buildings and make it hard to maintain them.

We were able to go into downtown Nassau and enjoyed spending time exploring. We did a little shopping and ate lunch at a charming restaurant called the Manila Grill. We did use a taxi to go downtown and back to Paradise Island. You must have the Conch fritters with in the Bahamas. Everyone was very polite and it was a wonderful experience.
The hotel facilities are pristine, the rooms are large and well appointed, and the staff is exceptional. The hotel has three restaurants onsite, a movie theater, a private beach with country club level comforts, spa, 24-hour gym, a great bar (try Little Miss Rocksteady) and only 30 rooms in the whole place. The hotel is on the western side of Nassau Island which is away from the more touristy part of the island which was great for those interested in rest and relaxation. The private beach was the highlight of the trip.
This is an absolutely beautiful place to stay. After visiting Nassau I’m so glad that I picked the Goldwynn. From the moment I entered the front door the beauty was seen. The staff was super courteous and helpful. The food and service was amazing and if I’m in Nassau again I will definitely be staying here. Please trust me the price is worth it. Other resorts are cramped and you’re fighting for space. The Goldwynn is the most private resort that gives you a relaxed and peaceful feel.
March 17,2023 -My best friend and I booked this property for a weekend stay in Nassau. After realizing what an uncomfortable environment it was, we made a request to cancel our reservations. Being the only two females on a trip why stay in a room with a number of strange men! It’s a no for us. 700+ went down the drain with NO refund! For a room we never stayed in ! After 5 days of calling the property managers to seek assistance with the refund, their attitude was very poor
Good - big rooms good AC, cleaning staff work hard, pool area nice, good use of Atlantis facilities, hotel kept clean.
Bad- WAY WAY to slow to check in it was like staff were trying to act busy doing nothing, breakfast is poor and like a scene from a prison being handed your food and organised chaos! Vending machines don’t work, life guard is a jobs worth got in the pool (just dropped in) and was told no “jumping”….
The hotel is in the heart of Nassau, walking distance to shops, beach and restaurants.
The staff was very friendly and helpfull.
I stayed there for 3 weeks, they helped with everything needed.
Rooms were cleaned every day and every room had balkony.
I highly recomend this Towne Hotel, and get to know the Owner! He have alot of good information about Bahamas!!
Thank you all for a nice stay!
The Stones Throw Away is a great hotel for arriving in Nassau and connecting to a flight the next day to another island in the Bahamas. It's a quick cab ride from the airport, there's a nice pool and the rooms are very comfortable. The veranda is a beautiful place to enjoy a cocktail or breakfast - which we unfortunately didn't have since we had an early flight in the morning.
This newly renovated hotel was absolutely beautiful. The staff was incredibly helpful and friendly. They went above and beyond to take care of our needs and make us comfortable. There was a delicious breakfast buffet included. The hotel is centrally located, has its own private beach and a nice pool area. I would highly recommend this place to anyone coming to Nassau.
Hotel was in a quiet location away from the mass market hotels. Swimming pool was good size and usually not busy (a plus if you like to swim lengths). Free parking was onsite. Free tea or coffee all day. Bar and restaurant was available. Beach was across the road (though it was sandy it was not the best in town). Safe environment.
Very tidy and lovely apartment equipped with everything you need. A good bed and nice bathroom.
Beach was very nice. Shops, Restaurants and Town in walking distance. Best location in Nassau.
Carina is a great host and there when you need her. She is very nice and wants to share all she knows about the area.
We had a great stay!
We stayed at the condo associated with Margaritaville, One Habour. The grounds itself was beautiful, clean, and the people were friendly. There is a license to chill for $45 a day per person If you do not opt in for all inclusive. I would recommend that since you can get unlimitrd sodas, water, beer, drinks, snacks and breakfast.
The location of the hotel is fabulous, and all the staff were exceedingly cheerful and helpful...except (understandably) towards a few of the guests that seemed to think the hotel should be their exclusive private oasis (read a few "opinionated" New Yorkers).
The food and service was excellent. It was nice to be at an all inclusive where there were a lot of offerings such as restaurants and bars but it wasn't super spread out. The private island was wonderful and peaceful so I highly recommend.
The location to the Atlantis hotel and the ease of use of their facilities everyday.
The restaurant is better than expected.
The pool
The cleaning of the room everyday. Whoever you do pay the resort fee for that.
The resort is huge, amazing water rides. Best gym I’ve seen in a hotel. loads of things to do, explore, several quiet beaches. The marine life and the huge aquarium is next level.
The breakfast was ok. Maybe the price point is low compared to other hotels in Nassau but if you are planning to take a few vacations days please look for another place.
