My partner and I loved everything about the property. The views were nice. The only thing I didn’t like was we had a gold view with the parking lot and street. It wasn’t the best gear cars driving and honking. It kind of took away from the vacation feel. But to upgrade to a better view was way too much for us since we booked so last minute. That view really was all we could afford at the moment.

Everyone is so friendly and helpful! The restaurant is fantastic and the wine cellar is amazing. It is the perfect experience for a romantic, grown-up vacation (away from the busyness of families with kids at the resorts you'll find in Nassau). They have live music in the lounge every night and offer lots of experiences (cigar rolling, wine tasting, yoga) and the pool/garden area is one of a kind! Absolutely gorgepus , quiet and private! It was definitely pricey, but worth every dollar for the kind of experience one can create if traveling solo or with your significant other.

The morning Front Desk staff were very friendly Anna and Ms Naomi. I got upgraded to a suite after a very serious issue that I reported to them. I greatly appreciated that move. The facility is centrally located close to the Fish Fry, The Cricket Club and the beach.

Alicia our host was fantastic and available whenever you needed her. The view is fantastic and the place clean and comfortable. There were two ice cube trays full and waiting for you as there are no ice makers in Nassau.
This is an 8 unit complex that attracts visitors from around the world and the common area outside your sliding door is a wonderful place to meet them in the evening when everyone gathers for the sunset. We have met Spaniards, British, Portuguese, Italians, and many others. There is great snorkeling at a reef 100 feet out with barracuda, rock lobsters, Tangs, brassies, and a host of other species of fish so bring your snorkel equipment. The left gate leads you to a beautiful beach. Getting around the island is easy with their $2 bus service. Just wait outside on the bench and the buses will pass frequently. Take the number 10 or 12 to Fish Fry, Downtown, Fort Charlotte, or anywhere you want to go. They run from about 6am to 6pm.
For travelers who only use carry on for travel the washer/dryer was very handy. Just bring a few laundry pods and you are set.
Again the place was clean and comfortable but not fancy. If you want an affordable place to stay that is located away from the busy tourist places, and a great host then we definitely would recommend Sunset Cove and Alicia.

It has great baches (eg Cabbage Beach) and great tours and activities (eg day tour to Exuma Cays, Swimming Pigs, Snorkeling, SandBars). The restaurants are good enough, but don't expect to much. Street food is very good, though!

Nassau is a very busy place. We only got around by Taxi. We were only there a few days but enjoyed our time there. It is very different from the out lying Islands. Friends spent some time exploring the History and Museums, we just didn't get there. Possibly a Stay out side of Nassau would be more relaxing but the Bahamian Hospitality is evident where ever you go in the Bahamas.

A cruise ship terminal where everyone is smiling but constantly trying to rip you off. At day full of the worst type of cruise ship passengers. Staff bubbly bubbly but entirely insincere. Tacky, horrid, poor levels of service. Taxis have no meters and will not quote in advance.
If you like casino hotel complexes - knock yourself out. You will be overcharge and under serviced. Visited both, both horrid experiences.
Saving graces
- Uko Sushi Bar
- Greycliffe Restaurant
- Day trip to Staniel Cay was stunning. Highly recommended.
Other than those there is NO reason to visit Nassau unless sent by work.

Entering Nassau is like entering the local food chain.
Entering Nassau is like entering the local food chain. I don't really like the hustle of the fish fry but I do enjoy the food! I have always found Bahamians very friendly. It is a nice place to visit. Some things can seem a little run down but you have to remember that the hurricanes beat up buildings and make it hard to maintain them.

We were able to go into downtown Nassau and enjoyed spending time exploring. We did a little shopping and ate lunch at a charming restaurant called the Manila Grill. We did use a taxi to go downtown and back to Paradise Island. You must have the Conch fritters with in the Bahamas. Everyone was very polite and it was a wonderful experience.
I was pleasantly surprised. I only needed a cheap hotel near the airport for one night. This place was much better than I expected. The staff was very friendly. The room was big and had a large kitchenette, a small patio with table and chairs, and the ac worked fine. They had a fun happy hour by the pool with free drinks. We chatted with the staff and other guests. Big free breakfast with cereal, waffles, bacon and eggs and coffee and several juices. I could have stayed longer.
Picked up from the airport within minutes of arrival, and in our room within minutes, this cool little hotel is so close to Nassau airport and great for a 1 night layover, the owner is so friendly and would go out of his way to make sure you were ok, there’s a selection of cold and hot drinks and alcohol in your room fridge along with snacks and microwave meals! Do not bypass this hotel if your flight hopping between islands, this is a great place 100% recommend
This was a beautiful, well located hotel perfect for me, traveling solo, en route to the USA.
The staff were all very helpful, friendly and respectful. The food was excellent and the facilities were great. My room was very comfortable and I there was always space around the pool or on the beach.
It’s a short walk to the Atlantis which you can look around but Warwick is less busy and chaotic. A paradise in paradise! Thank you!
I came to celebrate my birthday and I had the best birthday of my life. The staff was absolutely amazing and was extremely toughtful to make this day very special!!! A complimentary bottle of wine has been gifted in my hotel room with a birthday card!
The hotel is beautiful and the facilities are amazing. Everything has been designed to relax and enjoy the stay. The food was phenomenal and the restaurants were gorgeous.
While the Margaritaville resort itself was a disappointment, the true gems of Nassau lay beyond its gates. The vibrant fish-fries and authentic beach shacks offered a delicious escape from the bland hotel food, reminding me of the island's true culinary spirit. These local haunts became my saving grace, transforming my Nassau vacation from a potential shipwreck to a flavorful adventure.
staff was very friendly and supportive! we absolutely got what we paid for! The territory is very beautiful, good internet connection.
we called from the airport and asked meet us. The lady from the hotel picked us up in a 7 mins. it was very comfortable and much cheaper, than taxi price at the airport.
The hotel provides transfer whenever you want for fair price.
Nice property, clean, well maintained and friendly staff! Great hotel if you’re traveling with family and looking to stay in downtown Nassau. Walking distance to everything in Nassau. Our room had a kitchenette and an ocean view which was amazing! we could see all the cruise ships arriving. My kids enjoyed the water park. We’ll definitely be coming back.
Very tidy and lovely apartment equipped with everything you need. A good bed and nice bathroom.
Beach was very nice. Shops, Restaurants and Town in walking distance. Best location in Nassau.
Carina is a great host and there when you need her. She is very nice and wants to share all she knows about the area.
We had a great stay!
we spent 5 incredible nights at the island house hotel. incredible staff, stunning pool and rooms. i loved the workout classes. the private beach is easily one of the best beaches we’ve been to. the overall vibe is relaxed and low key which was perfect for our family holiday. we can’t wait to come back!
Of course, your booking includes access to Atlantis’ Aquaventure, which is right across the street. There is a very nice pool and it’s just a few steps away from Marina Village with an overpriced (even for Nassau) grocery store and the moderately-priced and tasty Anthony’s restaurant.
The location of the hotel is brilliant but like most big resorts it needs a lot of improvement. Mostly with the staff. Some are just plain rude and either shouldn’t be there or need retraining in the art of hospitality!
It was an all inclusive and the food was great. Restaurants were booked so i had to use the buffet but it was great. Great view from the room. staff was great, snacks and drinks available 24/7.
nice hotel, good to be in Bahamar complex with other hotels. long sandy beach. breakfast was the best one compared to all top resorts we stayed so far.
