Travelodge by Wyndham Montreal Centre, hotel in Montreal

In downtown Montreal, Hotel Travelodge Montreal Centre features an on-site restaurant and free Wi-Fi.

I really liked the location and cleanliness of the facilities. I read a lot of reviews before booking, the majority negative, but for me and my family, this hotel was great. The room was definitely smaller than other hotels, especially the bathroom, but we even got a view of the city, so I honestly dont understand people's complaints. Everything was clean, the lobby area was very well kept, and the hotel personnel was welcoming. Breakfast was nice as well, and everything was good. Everything was within walking distance from the hotel and the metro was close. The hotel let us keep the bags after checkout for later pickup so that was a plus as well.

LELUX Hotel, hotel in Montreal

This hotel in Montréal city center is just 2 minutes' walk from Berri-UQAM metro station. The hotel offers an on-site restaurant, fitness center and spacious guest rooms with a flat-screen cable TV.

I liked not having cable on my last night. I liked being awoken by a staffer who wanted to clean my room as I napped before dinner. They chose not to do the cleaning after I walked by them, going out for the day, seven hours earlier. I liked not having lights in most of the room. I especially enjoyed the lack of toilet paper on day one. It was truly appreciated that nobody at the front desk called the police as drunk guests created a commotion in front of the hotel at 2am. The greatest attribute of this hotel was to continually remind one that it was a holiday weekend, hence no ability to fix issues.

FAQs about hotels in Montreal

A Blend of the Urban and the Outdoors

Montreal is the second largest city in Canada and the entry point to Quebec province via Pierre Elliott Trudeau Airport. Montreal truly has it all. Divided into East and West by Boulevard Saint-Laurent, there are several districts to the city, each offering a distinct atmosphere.

Downtown is best explored on foot, as you weave your way through skyscrapers and visit museums such as the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts. In the winter you can steer clear of icy paths by heading underground to the passages of the Underground City, full of shops, movie theaters and food courts.

From there, the metro will conveniently take you outwards in any direction you might want to go, from the historic Old Montreal to the hip café and restaurant culture of the Quartier Latin-Le Village.

In summer, stay closer to the historic quarter and head outdoors in Parc Jean-Drapeau on the St. Lawrence River islands of Île Sainte-Helen and Île Notre-Dame. If the weather isn’t good enough for rowing, water-skiing and beaches then head to Montreal Casino.

Whether you’re visiting for festivals or fashion, gastronomy or culture, with over 190 hotels and B&Bs with Booking.com you’ll find your perfect home away from home.

Wonderful people. Great food. I loved the Metro - fast clean and convenient. I got to practice my French language and when I stumbled I went right into English. The residents were courteous and patient. I plan to return. There were many restaurants we missed. We used Uber a few times. No problems. We went to a really neat farm market. We dined for lunch at the top of the RBC bank building - Sushi. View spectacular on the 46th floor. A favorite spot for dinner or drinks was the L'orignal at 479 St. Alexis Street Montreal. Sit at the bar. Michael the owner is a most unforgettable character.

Great for our weekend stay in Montreal. The King Corner Suite was spacious and comfortable. The room was updated compared to the online pictures. Not the fanciest hotel in the area but certainly the best value while still maintaining a modern upscale feel. The staff was great. The parking garage was a plus. I was in Montreal for a conference together with my family, thus the location of the hotel was quite convenient in walking distance around the main downtown and Old Port area. It has a small swimming pool, which was a great occupation on rainy days (for our 3 yo son). The breakfast area it can get really crowdy, but having a kitchen area in the apartment it can help in this sense, by having breakfast in the room.

Great hotel to stay at in the center of downtown Montreal. It's right next to the Bell Centre and some famous restaurants like Okeya Kyujiro. Everything from the reception, lobby, room and facilities are great as well. I highly suggest you take a look at the 12th floor's pool, spa and outdoor jacuzzi - it's a really nice setup that you can't easily find in other hotels.

Good location in relation to downtown Montreal. The room was small (with the shower cubicle next to the bed) but it provided all of the facilities we needed. Would suggest checking the layout of your room depending on who you are travelling with. We didn’t actually meet anybody from the hotel as all correspondence is made via text/email but this ran smoothly.
