The EV charging was handy. Also a small washing station to clean the car (at least the windshield and get most bugs off).
The front desk staff were very helpful and friendly.

The motel exceeded my expectations. It was a last minute booking for an unexpected trip, and in my haste I booked the wrong day by mistake. I called and they changed my reservation with no trouble at all. I was very appreciative.

The property was extremely well maintained and Marisca and Jeff were very very welcoming!
Every single little detail was taken care of! It was extremely cozy! We had the chandler suite! Wow! Beautiful antiques, king size bed, the fireplace in the big bedroom and sitting area. Also a very big bathroom with the claw foot bathtub and a very nice shower with different shower jets along the wall. And it also included a beautiful makeup table.
The breakfast was all homemade and very delicious. The dining area also had a fireplace that was lit, fresh flowers on the table and she had lit candles on our table! We are definitely going back. Best place we’ve stayed at! Ever! ❤️20 out of 10!!

Amherst is a very interesting and historical town with several sites of interest (ie museums). The Armoury is a must see!!The stone buildings are beautiful. Enjoyed the shopping experience in the downtown core. People are very friendly. It's easy to get around.

I have friends who live in Amherst, and lived there for a short time many years ago. Amherst does not have a lot for tourists. We were there for a reunion at the Baptist Church. I forgot how beautiful it was
Amherst is close to Springhill, which does not have a hotel. If anyone likes Anne Murray they would love her museum, and a Tour of the Mine is well worth the visit.

I just wanted a plazce to stay for the night, have some dinner and sleep. I went a few blocks away to eat, however, you can order food from their dining room which was closed for renovations but we did have a good breakfast.
Easy access to our room. The staff arranged our room to be easy accessible after we let them know we preferred a main floor room. The cleaning staff helped us use our door key the first time. Then each time we saw her she greeted us and asked if we needed anything. Our room was exceptionally clean. The hotel was close to downtown and major highway.
The suite was really a suite – with a separate (albeit small) living room and bedroom, separated by the bathroom. it was comfortable, clean, and quiet. The breakfast was pretty good, although the eating area was a little crowded. The hotel was handy to the highway with ample parking; there was a shopping area nearby.
The Amherst Wandlyn Inn proved to be convenient to the highway and the town. Our room was large, clean, quiet and comfortable. In late May, there were few tenants and no breakfast. Town rumor has it that the new owner is converting the very large building to apartments.
We’ve never stayed at a Super 8 before but was surprised by how clean it was, it had comfortable beds and pillows and the pool and hot
tub was an added bonus after a day of hiking in Cape Breton National Park.
The room and facilities were similar to other Super 8 motels we’ve been to, but what made this one better was the staff. Everyone we had contact with was extremely nice and helpful.
The property felt very clean, and smelled great (not always the case with hotels unfortunately). The staff were super friendly and helpful. The pool was large, and felt very clean.
The location was good and the standard Comfort Inn breakfast was fine although they only had 2 tables and 4 chairs in the breakfast area in a hotel with at least 40 rooms.
The brkfst was very good, lots of choices. The hotel was clean and well kept. The pool was a bit small but it did the trick, the hot tub was a welcome bonus.
