The place was awesome! Spotless! Well planned tiny home with very tasteful decor. So modern. The bed was extremely COMFY! There were loads of electrical outlets. Top quality appliances and free Prime streaming. Everything you could ever need was included. I forgot my curling iron....there was a curling iron. We could have even had a fire! Penny was a wonderful hostess!

The weather was cold and windy so we did NOT get to the zoo.

Peterborough has beautiful green spaces and lots of hiking trials. The University offers many cultural events open to the public (i.e. Powwow). Plus the campus is beautiful even in the winter months. Also, there are many shopping options and not far to Oshawa or Go Train to Toronto.

It has been many years since I’ve been to Peterborough and I was shocked at the degradation over large part of the downtown… Graffiti and lots of homeless with obvious signs of prolific drug use. In three days I was there I never saw a single police officer. I did not feel safe in the downtown. It’s no longer the beautiful city I remember and would never consider retiring there.

I all ready gave my big review, but one thing I noticed...
I all ready gave my big review, but one thing I noticed later was this star reward for each night you stay of which I Have lost out on as staff did not inform me about. The only negative to my trip. Also reviewing all the things to see and do which the area has plenty of. Was not a part of this trip. I live in peterborough and this stay was a birthday getaway.
We pulled up to the hotel room, the curtains were stained and ripped from the outside, there were several rough looking characters with their room doors open to the parking lot , my wife I did not get out of the car , we called the Hilton and stayed there , forfeiting 400.00 in room fees we payed. Can't believe anyone would offer such poor accommodations to anyone that the guests don't even want to enter the hotel. Shameful. Coming from out of town, we did not know any better- we will avoid this brand on any future stays.
Staff service was poor, and the hotel lacked adequate security, and I simply didn't feel safe.
Personally felt safer outside of this hotel. After paying a higher premium for room with two beds, and a free breakfast, but my friend and I never received our breakfast.
One staff member personally recommended we go to the comfort inn instead next time, and I seriously might consider next time.
I used to come here as a kid, but I will no longer stay here or recommend this hotel to anyone...
We booked rooms at the hotel for our mothers funeral. We did not book directly with holiday inn, found out later there was a points system for booking directly and breakfast was included. I thought it was included in our room. Power was out overnight while we were there the last night. Hallways had generated lights. office gave us a flashlight to use in the room. Coffee was available in the morning at the lobby. We had a cup on our way out. room was clean. Staff helpful.
I really liked that we weren't greeted when we entered the hotel. The attending staff didn't even have a mask on his face, like come on, we're in a pandemic. If I wasn't looking for a cheap option simply because I had an 8 am exam in Peterborough, I never would have stayed here. Only good thing was that the window opened for fresh air.
Friendly landlady, clean and cozy apparment with versatile and useful cookware. Own parking place. Good breakfast ingredients! Perfect location to visit Peterborough, Lakefield, our friends and Curve Lake. We even got flowers for our friends from the owner's flower shop.
Nice location, though the water view is likely nicer than what we had. The hotel is older, but well kept. Cleaning staff did a great job. Bathroom is very small and the showers are low and not great pressure. The pool is nice, but the pool area is older.
The beds were so comfortable and you can’t beat having an indoor pool! And the staff were incredible. Best service I have ever received at a hotel. We had some special requests which were met with grace and smiles. Would return again!
Hotel very clean and comfortable. Extra bed pillows and larger towels than what you usually get in a hotel.. Lovely river view. Breakfast was delicious-french toast one day and mini pancakes the next. Overall, a great stay!
it’s a very convenient location if you’re passing through Peterborough. lots of amenities around the area. but primarily we were able to bring our puppy which was a deciding factor. The staff were very friendly and efficient.
The location was great for what I needed. The hotel staff were very helpful. Having a restaurant attached is amazing and the breakfast in the morning was also a nice bonus for getting something first thing before leaving.
Friendly staff, easy check-in/out. Rooms are always comfortable, quiet, and it's very cost-effective. The Quality Inn is my go-to place to stay whenever I come to Peterborough, and would recommend it to anyone.
Very nice hotel. Great location. Clean and spacious room. The bed was very comfortable and the front staff very nice and friendly. Checkin and checkout process very quick and smooth.
