Service at the Pullman Lijiang was fantastic! Emily at the front desk went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed! She checked on us throughout our stay making sure we had even we needed and even inquiring if we needed breakfast delivered to our room. She even put together a safe trip package for us when we were leaving to go home which included a mask, antibacterial wipes etc. We would without a doubt stay there again. This was our first time at a Pullman Hotel but definitely will not be our last!

The design of the room was so stylish and practical, bed super comfortable, shower great, sofa/desk - wow great design. And room was super clean. Staff was also incredibly kind and helpful especially when I stupidly lost my room key in a matter of hours of receiving it ugh. Price of room was extremely reasonable too. After staying here, I plan to seek out this hotel brand in the future elsewhere - I was Very Impressed

A very good check-in experience. After placing the order, they contacted us immediately and communicated with us in advance about the weather conditions and precautions in Lijiang. They really cared about everything and felt warm at home. After arriving, there were also some small surprises, such as flower cakes and a cup of hot tea, which really made me feel flattered and surprised. I have never experienced it before. Time is too rushed, otherwise we must stay for a few more days

In 20 years the lovely, quiet and quaint town of Lijiang has developed like no other, become a tourist magnet (seemingly mostly for Mainland Chinese tourists) and has almost completely lost its charm... unless you wake up early and walk in the deserted streets at sunrise (before 8am). From morning onward it is choking with tourists, even in low season (can't imagine high season !!), discos at night become restaurants during the day, and the whole place is just guesthouses, retail shops and restaurants. Even old ladies selling strawberries can't give change on 20 yuan and ask for payment by AliPay or WeChat Pay!!
Shuhe and Baisha are no better, victim of their "heritage" status that has completely destroyed the soul of those places.
Luckily, with electric cars and electric scooter the air is fairly pure and the sky still blue. It makes for nice photos, but forget originality. A very good example of a UNESCO Heritage site that has become a victim of its success... go and visit before it's even worse, but in low season please............

The staff were fantastic.
The staff were fantastic. In particular the manager Joye accommodated every request we made and did it with a smile and genuine sense of friendship.
We needed some complicated forward planning and both travel and accommodation reservations to be made. Mr Joye assigned a very nice, intelligent and competent young lady named Cassie who did an amazing job and we are now traveling again with all of her advice and recommendations proving to be excellent.
We would throughly recommend using this, and most of the staff speak English.

It was a nice ancient town to walk round and was very picturesque.
The good thing was that it was car free. Unfortunately the shops sell most of the same things. The places to visit around Lijiang were easy to visit by car.
Super cozy place located right on the edge off the old town and pretty quiet. Staff spoke English, and went above and beyond with their hospitality, including making sure I had directions in advance and even helped me carrying my bag from the taxi. I could also use the washing machine for free!
The rooms are super comfy, even the bed was soft for Chinese standards and you can even see the mountains from the upper floors. Chinese breakfast was decent, and included.
I only stayed in Lijiang to explore nearby places and it was perfect for that!
We have been cared very well during our stay and it was a great bonus that they could speak both English and Chinese fluently. The breakfast was delicious, the tea was fantastic, hiking was AMAZING(the boys loved it!), even the yoga experience was memorable. The over 100 years old lodge, fit in well in the old town. Everything was so perfect that we don't want to travel any more. We have discussed a return trip to the hotel before we left. Thanks again Johnson and Carol for your hospitality and we had great time there. Xx
Location was perfect for visiting the ancient town. Breakfast was good. The layout of the hotel was interesting and liked that there were several entrances into the old town. Staff were attentive especially Kokole (? spelling) who cleaned the three rooms we occupied. On the last night, she even left the door to the safe opened as a reminder that I had items in the safe. Very thoughtful. The hotel compound was beautiful and well maintained. Shame there were no balconies to sit and view the gardens from the upstairs rooms.
- Located center of Shuhe ancient town, 1 of the best ancient towns in Lijiang. If you wanna feel quiet and peaceful ancient in Lijiang, Johnson's home is a good choice.
- Kind and supportive owner, Johnson helped us to carry our luggage way in and out to the road. Showed us some attractive places to visit, and support in reserving a ticket for the Legend of Romance show
- Experienced in Naxi house, unique and style architecture design.
Before I arrived they added me on WeChat which I found to be extremely helpful! They sent me the location of the hotel and I was able to communicate with the hotel throughout my stay. I felt really comfortable and the room was very spacious. I felt that the price and the service was too good to be true. The noodles in the morning were delicious. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and I would happily stay here again.
The quiet location, clean rooms with en suite and a perfect location in the old town. But to crown this the very hospitable staff under the lead of Joye the manager.
Ever affable and willing to give advice, his fluency in English and concern to help when my wife fell ill was particularly appreciated.
Both the place and its staff made our stay a comfortable base to explore the delights of LiJiang
The accommodation environment is very nice, a small courtyard filled with fresh flowers. The staff in the shop are all very friendly. Kyrie, Joye, and the landlady Cici provided us with a lot of help. In the evening, Joye even took us to the bars in Lijiang to have fun. It was a very pleasant stay, and we will stay at her place again next time we come to Lijiang. 👍👍👍
The hotel is in a great location next to the old town. It is a very cute place with a rooftop/courtyard area outside. The owners are super helpful. They don't speak English, but they will answer any questions you need if you translate them. I mostly used wechat to communicate with them. They also helped me to book transportation to and from Jade Dragon Snow Mountain.
Our stay was incredible. The people were so welcoming and friendly and spoke good englisch - perfect if you are new to china. They helped with trips and showed very nice local places. The Hotel is so nice – flowers, nice view and very quiet. The village and the nature is stunning, one of the most beautiful places in the world.
Property was well appointed, an oasis conveniently located in the busy Shuhe old town. Our travel itinerary was also curated by the hotel and we had a seamless experience. The quick laundry service was also a plus. Kudos to all staff who were also very friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay here again.
A pretty good location nearby Lijiang Da Yan Old Town.
Wonderful staff, ready to help at any moment. We were greeted with tea and cake.
They also helped with transfer (free of charge) from the train station to the hotel. During our trip to the mountains, they provided driver services at a good price.
We loved our stay here. The staff were so friendly and George was particularly helpful with all of his English help like booking trips and translating things. The hotel was clean and a convenient location. The showers were great and large enough for my very tall partner. Absolutely recommend.
Gorgeous building which really felt like a family home. The staff were wonderful. We had a tea ceremony as we checked in which was lovely. The hotel is in the old town but not in the hustle bustle which is great. There is fresh fruit available all the time and it’s delicious.
Hotel manager was so nice and helpful. Gave me some suggestions and a map of Lijiang which areas to go and which places to avoid because of crowds. The hotel is in a quieter area of old town and it feels nice after the bustle of everywhere else.
Everything is really great and beautiful the room is clean and there have everything. The location is comfortable to travel around the old city in Lijiang the staff member is very nice and kind.
Location is very good.walkable to old town
The room is wide and clean.
Staff is so nice and helpful. If you have to leave early in the morning they can help you pack the breakfast to take away.
