This hotel is beautiful. Set on a farm in the lush greenery, close to the river. I enjoyed walking to the river to kayak and swim. You can easily get to the beach too. We saw toucans and so many beautiful birds just sitting by the pool. It is relaxing and feels like a luxury home. Loved it!

The cleaners come in each day and do a great job but the best thinks about this hotel is the staff! One person in particular is ruby who works in the restaurant team and is exceptional at her job. It helps to speak Spanish here but if you don’t then no worries, they ensure you get what you need and make it work (we do speak Spanish). Ruby though was a stand out and thank you for all you did for us!

Puppies, cats and cacao. 😍 The owner, Polo is super simpático, motivated and caring. He invited us on a tour of the finca and we learned all about the art of making chocolate. And sampling choc too. We left with BIG SMILES, in tranquility and plans to return soon for more adventures.
