I could not get over the beautiful view of our room. Not only is the hammock so aesthetically instagrammable, but the view from the bed is tropical. I would open the big glass doors every morning to hear the sound of the river and the birds. Sometimes I even saw Toucans fly by! Breakfast included was special, they always offer coffee. I would like to come back. Finca was our destination vacation and despite being quite older than the average visitor, we enjoyed every minute of our stay. We did the cacao and coffee tours, ample amount of hiking, and relaxed in the pools or in the hammocks. We used the service of the car/ jeep to get to Finca , it was very convenient for us.
Not the easiest of places to get to, but that made all the more unique. Overall, a great experience. Pilar and her staff absolutely operate a great property that providers customers a wonderful experience. The coordination with a local guide for the hike to the waterfall provided an amazing experience, earned through a challenging hike.
Great waterfalls, short hikes, unexpectedly incredible restaurants, great price, and easy to walk around. There are back paths for many of the roads that make it safe to get around but also the motor bikes are abundant and very cheap to hop on the back. The Marinka waterfalls were beautiful. Duni cafe is incredible. ANDDDD you must go to Sol De Minca ecolodge either for staying overnight or even just for lunch/dinner. The owners are incredible.
This is an amazing place to go and relax away from daily routine or could be also a big adventure going to all this waterfalls, hiking paths, so get ready, put your boots on and get ready to go into the forest for some action. Or put your sandals, stay in your room or laying on your hammock watching birds and squirrels jumping around. Decent food offer and places to stay. Colores de la Sierra, highly recomended.
I planned to stay 2 nights but ended up staying 4. Not so hot as Santa Marta and with lots of nature and adventure around it. Friendly people and nice small town flair. Plenty of interesting and inexpensive hotels and hostels, some of them built into the mountains with nothing but nature and good views around them. Bring small luggage to use some of those mountain hostels or hotels.
I almost skipped my trip to Minca to stay on the coast longer, but I am so glad I didn't. The views, temperatures, adventures and people were ALL so great. I could go back again and still have so much to do. Loved every minute (except leaving!) In my 1.5 days I hiked to three waterfalls, climbed a mountain to a coffee and chocolate farm, met lovely people, and had such a relaxing stay.
Minca
Everything was perfect, really. One of the best hostels in Colombia !!! -Social jungle vibe. We met so many great people here! (would stay here 4 nights at least) -The private rooms are just stunning and beautiful! -The location, infinity pool & and the view just breathtaking!!! :) - We enjoyed the Happy-Hours at the Bar and Yoga in the morning. -Massage the shamanic one 👌(different but great) - We would recommend to take the car up from Minca Town. It is quite a ride up there!
The property is located on the edge of minca mountain with the most incredible sunsets we had every night. The rooms were amazing very large and very comfortable beds. The staff were very helpful even though we could not speak spanish we found them so helpful and polite. We did extra activities such as yoga and hiked to the most amazing waterfall. We loved it so much we extended our stay by a extra day and I was sad to leave. Really beautiful and one of my fav places in Colombia.
Minca
Very basic. Upon arrival it didn’t seem right. The Colombian owner was kind, unfortunately his partner was inebriated from when we arrived and that got worse when we got back from a trip into town - we could hear a loud argument. There were two young girls staying next door and they were both terrified during the night, as the one owner (as well as someone else) opened their room and looked into their room several times at night. We felt very uncomfortable and unsafe.
Minca
Lovely, quiet location about a 10 minute walk from town. Very cute and comfortable. The breakfast was very good - it was traditional Colombian, handmade arepas with eggs, some fruit, and juice. The staff were extremely kind and friendly. The ambiance is very chill. The hostel itself is very small, not too many people. The wifi is surprisingly good! There's a river right next to the hostel you can swim in.
amazing and unique hotel in the middle of Sierra Nev nevada! the style of everything is so local and elegant thanks to the owner Pilar! she’s a wonderful woman who can explain so well the nature and energy if this magical place. the food is so good, the best food we’ve had in Colombia! definitely recommended
The best bed we slept in during our two months Colombia. it is quite and relaxed and a little walk away from Main Street where all restaurants our. There is also a possibility offered by the owner to drop you off at his private property for a beautiful sunset. It was breathtaking gorgeous. A hidden gem.

The sceneries were beautiful! The hotel owns a lot of land and there are many little spots you can go to with amazing views. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. They had a natural pool, a pool table, board games, many things to do!
Best breakfast we had in our trip in Colombia with the most amazing view! The place is very well located in Minca, with very nice views over the jungle. Perfect for a few day break outside of the world.
Amazing location, tranquil, nature all around. Perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of Colombia. The only noise at night is listening to a waterfall.
Simply one of the best hostels we visited in Colombia. Friendly staff, great pool and view, strong wifi and even hot water in the shower.
The location is gorgeous with a variety of pools and is immaculate. The food is also incredible, some of the best we had in Colombia!

Amazing bungalow in the forest. It was a unique experience to sleep in the Minca forest.
well located, close to the Minca town but far enough to avoid the noise at night
