The staff is very nice. The grounds are beautiful. I love how family friendly it is yet peaceful environment at the same time. The pools are pretty and well maintained. The restaurant was good (not exceptional). The alcohol drinks were good - especially the owners favorite margarita. The complimentary breakfast was delicious. We also enjoyed the pool table.

Location was amazing, quick walk into the town of dominical but far enough away to feel like you’re staying in the jungle. The pool was refreshing to take a dip in after a day of walking around in the heat. We also saw some toucans during our stay!
Our room came with a very functional kitchen so we were able to warm up leftovers and save some money on meals as well. It has a full fridge, hot plate, coffee maker, blender and dishes/silverware/cookware.
Just an FYI: we did lose power during a rainstorm for a decent amount of time 1 night, which is at NO FAULT of the hotel as that’s just what happens in CR. But just being transparent for future travelers reading so there are no surprises.

Everyone: in summing up Jungle Gayborhood (a rare oasis of purity) I can only write of its fantabulousness, its wonderfulness & its awesomeness! Every JGBH team member simply oozes empathy. The unique compound is so great, its concept so well thought out, every detail is well thought out, the compound itself is of top notch quality, organic and original. You totally have to approach it with an open mind and let JGBH take it from there. I can tell you when I checked out, I left JGBH longing for more!

The view is spectacular! The cabins are nice. You have the options of opening the sliding glass doors to feel like you are sleeping surrounded by nature or you can keep the glass doors closed and use the A/C. Bed and shelves were beautiful wood.

Beautiful location. It is a fairly steep dirt road going to property, however it wasn't a problem for us during the dry season. Room was comfortable. Enjoyed the nice pool & surrounding area. Plants were beautiful. Enjoyed watching the howler monkeys in the trees. Peaceful location.

We stayed at the Eco Lodge condo. It's like brand new. We also went to the Lodge. Syd and Micah were so hospitable. They even made reservations for an excursion. This place is so cute, their rescue pets were very well behaved. The views were amazing, and you could hear the howler monkeys while eating breakfast! I definitely would recommend to anyone and want to go back!!
