What a lovely European experience. If you want a quaint BnB type stay, not the commercial Airbnb apartment rental, this is it! You will be transported back in time to where weary travelers need safety and a warm meal served by the innkeeper. Who also, is a little like your grandmother! We really got a kick out of the personal tour of our room, including which buttons do what on the TV remote control! Just a lovely place to lay your head and get a personalized touch to your experience! Did you lay your swimsuit on the radiator to dry? Nonna will bring in an unobtrusive drying rack to hang it on properly!

Nice view out over the town and the mountains. Nice balcony to sit out and enjoy the air. Convenient to be able to eat dinner at the restaurant, as the town below was a VERY steep climb. Conveniently located though very close to the Vital Therme, which was free for hotel guests. Bring your own towel and bathing shoes!

The receptionist who greeted us was very nice and tried very hard to ensure we understood where parking was located and where our room was located. The location of the hotel was great for experiencing the town.

The breakfast was so good. The lady there is so sweet and helped with the eggs preference.
The location is good, has no view, but so good and easy to find.

if you like the Lake District in the UK then this is better - no crowds and better buses and trams and cable cars and opera festivals
and the spiral wood walkway and the high bridge in the forest - brilliant
and enough English spoken and a Lidl in the town. no noise at night
village a bit like a mini Venice with less ornate buildings, but some architecture.
good restaurants al fresco no road noise.

We visited for 5 days in the middle of winter over new years eve. It was unusually warm, one day reaching 17 degrees. There are many lovely walking tracks above the town and you can walk up the hill to them. We found there weren't many restaurants to choose from although it may have been the time of year. The restaurants we went to were very nice though. We had access to the adults only wellness centre which was fantastic but pretty busy. Overall we have a great stay at Bad Wildbad, lovely walks, nice food and plenty of wellness.

Bad Wildbad is a very beautiful place to go with your partner or family. They have a very nice park down the riverside, thermal baths, and a lot of easy trails (they are beautiful and very well maintained). On top of the mountain, they have a wood structure and a wood spiral - very fun and a most go, a big playground for children, and a Wildline (not for those who have motion sickness). For these, you have to pay. You also get a card for free public transport in the region from your host.

Great place for a long weekend, trails to explore on the Sommerberg, mountainbike trails, a lovely Baumwipfelpad and lots of activities for kids, a big and beautiful park (Kurpark) and spas (the lovely Palais Thermal and Vital Therme).
Wonderful location and Gasthaus. Frau Hirzel greeted us a bit early, showed us our room and had information in English of things to do in the area.
It was truly an apartment with a hot plate to warm things up, pot to heat water for coffee and/or tea, enough table settings for two, and of course, a refrigerator.
Adjoining our apartment was a nice balcony with a table and chairs to enjoy the beautiful weather.
We were also afforded a parking spot next to our house.
We liked everything about our stay! Lovely staff who were accommodating and generous. Our room overlooked the beautiful valley and was spacious, very comfortable and clean. The kitchen is well equipped for three guests, we had everything we could need. The location is close to transport and the town’s attractions, whilst being quiet and peaceful. The snack bar was affordable and well stocked! We loved this accomodation so much we extended our stay by two nights!
The location is more than central (I think it is seriously right in the middle of the main street) but on a street parallel the main street, so it was quiet. My single room was very small but very clean and very well thought through so it was just perfect. Good heating, good shower. A lot of attention to small decorations and details throughout the hotel (all with a nostalgic vibe). I didn't take breakfast. Very nice staff, good wifi. Very good stay overall
On arrival the staff are welcoming and very helpful, lovely hotel right in the middle of town fantastic location but heard no noise, everything was clean and tidy, room was good , bathroom was lovely, breakfast was fab everything you wanted was on offer, the spa and pool is so close and is amazing but no swim wear you have to go naked, kept getting lost in there but it is amazing , good secure garage for vehicle close by
The apartment is excellent. Very clean, spacious, great wifi, and with all of the facilities as advertised. A great location in the center of the city, and perfect for exploring the surrounding town and areas around it. The host, Adam, also came promptly at the agreed upon time, extremely friendly, and was helpful with giving a tour of the apartment and answering any questions we had.
Exceptional stay in the heart of Bad Wildbad. The flat amenities were excellent, with an additional small AC which surprisingly gets the room quite cold. This is especially useful as the room can get too warm. The kitchen has all utensils that you need. Bathroom is well equipped.
The underground parking (quite narrow) but a definite plus for a stay in this town.
It was really nice, he left us a bottle of some sparkling wine and christmas cookies. Theres a washing machine and dish washer, there was a rose on the small table and the place was really clean. The dishes are also really cute, the kitchen is well equipped. The whole area is lovely and the appartment is besides the therme. The bed sheets were super nice,
A very nice flat in a great location, very clean, well-equipped, and pleasant. The location is perfect for walking into Bad Wildbad, hiking up to Sommerberg, and exploring this part of the Black Forest. The balcony was great for eating outside, with the sound of a nearby stream, great scenery and lots of nature around.
The staff, with their warm welcome, their tips to spend the WE and their caring attention to details.
The bathroom, the very comfortable view and the balcony with view to the Sommerberg.
The location: very easy to reach with public transport, practically next to the Palais Thermal and the Kurpark.
Was a great place to stay as it's perfectly located. Obviously we did not expect much from a 3 star hotel and one night stay. Yes, it's old, but the room itself was tidy and had a nice balcony with a view to the river and hills. Good point - free parking.
The apartment is very comfortable and large! The view is fantastic! It was raining so we could not enjoy the deck. Our host were very gracious and helpful. Many walking trails right up the road! The thermal spas were less than a five minute drive.
super nice service and nice stuff. clean rooms and perfect location.
the hotel is 5-6 min walking distance from all the sightseeing districts and the train station.
Spacious apartment, ideal for families, well-located (from there you can easily explore the "black forest") and with everything you need for a pleasant stay.
