Don't listen to the hype regarding Benidorm being Blackpool in the sun, if you are young and looking for the nightlife scene drinking yourself stupid its there in abundance. If your looking for a quiet or cafe culture with countless restaurants serving great food its there in old town, for families wanting beach life you can do that as well. Benidorm has everything to offer and caters for the needs of everyone I personally don't use it as my main holiday destination usually extended weekend stays 5 nights ish . Its a great place everyone needs to experience and judge for yourself just be careful to do your homework choosing a hotel in the correct area to suit your needs. Sadly like any holiday resort there are scammers and thieves just be on your guard.AAnonymous - 10Scored 10

It was a fun place to go however just got to keep your wits about you for the men and women who stand on the corner of streets waiting to rob people. Always get a taxi. A weekend wasn’t enough! Nightlife if great, a lot of places take cash only

A Benidorm trip can be full of hussle and bussel if that's what you want or it can be relaxing and chilled if required , there's so many options, the beaches are great , there's plenty of bars with fantastic entertainment, there are so many restaurants serving a variety of different foods and the value for money is excellent.

The range of eating places were great, eat a lot in the Grand National cafe, food was excellent. Also visited Benidorm Palace, food and entertainment was fantastic. Bars were very busy and noisy. Getting around was easy although we walked quite a lot. The route of the open top bus service could be better explained.

Benidorm is a location for a wide variety of travellers.
Benidorm is a location for a wide variety of travellers. The Levante beach caters for people enjoying bars, entertainment and partying. This is where the image of Benidorm often comes from. On the Poniente beach we stayed on it was quiet and peaceful. The old town is between the two beaches so you can always walk from one to the other in around 20 minutes. A 20-minute taxi ride gets you to the Benidorm Palace which puts on a brilliant meal and show evening. We went in at 8pm and came out after midnight. The taxi prices were also good and they're plentiful to take you home. If you enjoy walking along a beach with occasional stops for coffee/ice cream then the Poniente beach is great. There are also a couple of loverly parks to walk in. I'd recommend it for a holiday break.JamesUnited Kingdom

The option to have a late check at a cost of €25 was really good as my flight from Alicante was in the evening. It's the second time I stayed at the hotel this year, and I enjoyed both stays and will stay there again on future visits to Benidorm.
