The hotel location is very good. We had a large room, lots of storage. There are small streets with lots of restaurants and small shops. Very Good breakfast, a variety of hot and cold items. Good area for breakfast. The tram lines runs in front of hotel, excellent for going to Laguna.

It is port city. Not touristic. Bad moment - was no beach near and everywhere in cafes and restaurants no wifi internet. no printed paper menu, it is needed to be scan by QR code with special application in mobile phone which need internet connection. Why no wifi? When in all other cities in Spain this option is available.

It's a very interesting and nice city.
It's a very interesting and nice city. People are very kind and pleasant. There are not as many tourists as in the south of the island. Living in a local neighborhood outside the center was very nice to interact with local people. There are many pleasant cafes and restaurants. There is also a great urban transport system of trams and buses. It is also a beautifully green city with many parks.

We have only ever visited during carnival which is extremely full-on everyday, so don't expect to feel rested after a holiday during that period. But do expect to feel exhilarated by the noise, music, costumes, fancy dress and joy.
I think it would be a lovely place to stay outside of carnival as a city break in dependable warm weather.
Its an easy bus trip to Playa de las Teresitas, and there are many efficient bus routes to other regions of the island. If you wanted to go off the beaten track car hire would be useful. Few if any organised trips start from Santa Cruz, for example, trips Mount Tiede tend to originate from the southern resorts.
Much of the centre is pedestrianised. Its a city for locals so don't expect all menus to be translated. Food orientated towards local taste also, which is excellent IMO.
Lots of good shops in the centre.
No great permanent cultural highlights, although I understand the Tenerife Orchestra is one of the best in Spain.

This tiny hotel is right in the heart of Santa Cruz de Tenerife. At the time I booked the hotel and based on the price I paid we expected a hotel way out of the city but when we actually got there we couldn't believe our eyes, our accommodation was right in the middle of high street and 5 minutes walk from the marina. All bars, restaurants and shops were at our doorstep. I can't recommend this hotel enough for its location. Bonus, we could see the ocean from our balcony (3rd floor)
Really nice city hotel with great outdoor pool & park surrounding. The free gym is also really nice and spacious. The spa (with extra entrance fee) is really nice and offers really good treatments, but the sauna inside is really small & not new. The hotel beds are really good. Definitely can recommend the breakfast (to check if included/extra paid), which offers everything - fresh and tasty. The hotel is located close to a nice park and close by to the center of Santa Cruz.
After a couple of bad experiencces on this trip, I am done with hotels that have no on-site human staff and that do everything online. Parigi is such a hotel. HOWEVER, the host, Milena, was frendly, helpful, and responsive, and though I never saw her, I had no problems during my stay. The location was an easy walk to the center and its many attractions, and transit was very close by. Milena's Mama makes declicious breakfast cakes.
The staff were friendly and attentive, the breakfast was fresh from a nearby bakery and the option was available from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM each day. The room is equivalent to a loft style residence. Most of the areas in the central area of the city can be reached on foot from the hotel, also nearby two main bus stops at the pier and Plaza de Espana.
Very spacious and clean room. Location for us was perfect as we were returning from a cruise into Santa Cruz. Staff helpful and friendly. Really big comfortable bed. Very quiet given its central location. Also had an amazing buffet breakfast that catered for all tastes. Try the pinchos bar next to the hotel. Amazing food too.
Very beautiful hotel with a perfect roof top swimming pool and bar in the centre of Santa Cruz. The rooms are clean and well-equipped, the breakfast is delicious. I would like to say thank you for the Roof Top bar's crew, they helped me a lot to organise my proposal:) Thank you Guys! We will definetaly come back!
We stayed for 3 nights on recommendation. Hotel is very good overall. Rooms were spacious and nice, staff very friendly and helpful . The hotel is facing a beautiful park and is pretty much in the centre of Santa Cruz. Nice breakfast buffet too.
The hotel is located in the centre of Santa Cruz, a block away from the Principe de Asturias park/square. It was a decent value for money, given the location. It had a 24 hour reception desk and the staff were nice and approachable.
Stayed at Silken Atlántida for the 7th time, so the hotel almost feels like home :-). Breakfast is still amazing and the staff is super friendly. They even gave us a free upgrade :-) Thank you guys! See you next year!
Hotel was amazing with an excellent location just in the city center.
— Room very nice and clean.
— Staff very polite and attentive.
— Good cocktails on the rooftop bar.
— Rich and delicious breakfast
Location and hotel facilities were great! Being next to the park was also a big advantage and walking distance to the town center. Transport was also great in Santa Cruz. Staff was also great!
Good rooms conditions, nice personal. You will have all necessary stuff in bath and kitchen for life. Good option between hostel public rooms and hotels in Santa Cruz
