This hotel was centrally located and was convenient for walking and finding restaurants. This is not a very touristy place, but we found a great restaurant on the beach and had wonderful meals. The hotel is basic bur has some charming architectural details. The staff was friendly and attentive, what more could you want for a two night stay.

El Masnou is easily reached by public transport from...
El Masnou is easily reached by public transport from Barcelona (R1 train). The beach is beautiful and clean and so is the water. There are a few beach bars as well on the beach which is an added bonus if you fancy a coffee or a drink in the evening. El Masnou has a lovely old town which is worth walking around. There are also shops, cafes, supermarkets and pharmacies around. We felt very safe in the area and would highly recommend.

Some very good restaurants, nice walks along the seafront especially to Premia De Mar. Not too "touristy" but although not much English spoken that's not a bad thing, makes one learn at least a little Spanish. A few areas a little rundown but the new centre with new apartments, a nice playground and some new shops is very nice. The main criticism I have is there is still too much dog's faeces on the pavements and the restaurants could open a little earlier in the evenings. Good train service along the coast especially into Barcelona.

A very quiet seaside town during the week, but with a lot...
A very quiet seaside town during the week, but with a lot people on the weekend. Nothing special to visit, but Barcelona is really close and you don't need the car, the train run every 10 minutes. You can eat well enough anywhere and it is pleasant to stay the evening at the "chiringuito" or walking at the harbor or the promenade. Is nice also go to Badalona or Girona for a dinner.

We shall return again convenient to the city but the quite of the Spanish town. Wonderful We visited the local market for supplies mostly liquid but fruit the prices we exceptionally cheap. Cheese wine lovely. The train was so close to visit the city, airport and circuit for the bike racing.

The hotel has a nice view of the beach, and one of the two brothers that own the hotel checked me in and let me pick between two rooms, as I had requested a room with a balcony and ocean view. He also brought me a bowl of fruit and a large water bottle, which I found very hospitable. They have a nice breakfast in the morning. They called me a taxi for me when there were no available Ubers.

It's about a 20-minute train ride to the Barcelona city center, but only a 5-minute walk from the apartment to the train station in El Masnou. The commute is easy and convenient. The advantage of being in El Masnou is the beautiful view of the sea. Also, it's a lovely area in its own right. There are shops and parks, and walking up into the hills provided charming scenes and lovely vistas.

It's a hotel owned by a family, so you feel like at home there, the staff was really nice and helpful, they even allowed us to come from the beach and take a shower in our former room after the checkout, since the room wasn't booked for the next day. The room has everything you need. They also have a very cosy patio and the hotel's location is absolutely superb-right in front of the beach

Good and frech breakfast with plenty of choice available! The Vilador is a fantastic hotel, right in front of the beach. The location is amazing. Very easy to go to Barcelona City Center by public transportation. I also loved the possibility to borrow beach parasol/umbrella and picnic chair from the hotel. The staff is friendly and helpful, specially the owners.

It was perfect! The owners are really great, helpful, always smiling and making sure if everything is ok. Rooms are clean and the roomservice is nice and discreet. The garden is beautiful with nice and clean pool. Breakfast - always fresh and very tasty. The hotel is only few minutes walk from beach, supermarkets and restaurants.

El Masnou is the perfect area to stay then visiting Barcelona. Easy access to the city by direct train. The apartment entrance is in a hidden alley, but the facade is prominent facing the beach. The roof terrace is huge and really nice. Clean area, without tourists and hidden street art.

Very nice and comfortable apartment in the small and quiet street of the beautiful town of Masnou. The flat is located in the centre of the town so we could enjoy shops, restaurants and so on. Wonderful see and the Ocata beach! And the owners of the flat are very friendly!

Good location, just across the beach and not far from Barcelona, we had a scooter, so it took us around 20min to reach. Our room had a nice view. Owners are friendly and helpful. The hotel has good potential, they just need to work on details.

The staff are amazing, couldn’t do more to help. I think this hotels deserves more than 1 star, location a 3 minute walk from the beach and comfy beds. A simple room with just what we needed no extras but a steal for the price!
