Very welcoming and relaxed happy staff.lovely pool and bar area .spacious rooms and balcony. Cleaner was amazing! Would recommend tiberon to all travellers.
the staff was good
the hostel need a good revamp from top to bottom & clean up round the pool airrier & new outdoor furnicher
clendiness veryclean beds androoms
hotel very out of date needs a good refurbish
Location over looked Albir and the sea, views were spectacular! The food at the place was gorgeous. Rooms were clean and the bathroom even cleaner. Beach was a steep walk down a road, with lovely beach side bars (Goltea Beach was a daily visit!) Benidorm was a 10 minute taxi away costing 12€ or 1€50 on the bus.
everything was absolutely perfect.180 euro - halfpension for 2 persons (for 6 days), 5 minutes from the beach, 5 minutes from the shops, private swimming pool and etc.
Very friendly relaxed place in a great location and the family are really lovely.
The location was excellent, handy for beachfront and shop.quiet area ,I have lived in this area for many years so was an ideal base for visiting friends
The Tiburon is ideal as a base ,needs updated ,but this reflects in the reasonable price. I would certainly return as it suited my needs perfectly.
great value for money
needs some refurb
owners and staff very helpfull nice pool and bar. quite location
a little run down. but this is reflected in the price you pay
albir nice place
they took the full money for the booking 2 months prior to my arrival even though this was not part of the terms and conditions - denying me any opportunity to cancel or pay in cash and causing me to charges and commissions whilst contemporaneously ensuring they get there cash - refused to communicate rationally about any matters relating to money - very bad - shocked very bad - even booking.com could not get a resolution -
I had a wonderful time staying one full month at El Tiburon. Every day i prepared a brunch and took along to one of the good sights on top of the Serra Gelada. Found a new path and a new place almost every day. Met many good people and could practice my spanish. Nice staff at the hostal, always helping out when needed.
It's like that paint commercial you get what you pay for it dies exactly what it says on the tin.
Like I said you get what you pay for.
absolutly nothing to like in that hostal. everything there is old and dirty.
just to hold my self, I wouldn't want to say anything.
The facilities are basic which is represented in the price. But the rooms are clean as was the mattress and pillow. The shower was dated but had hot water when I used it twice a day. I've already booked another stay there.
Has changed hands, no staff and very poor conditions. Needs a lot done to it. (Change the pictures as well).
very tired accomodation, very tatty balcony, rest of the hostel looked like it had been deserted three years ago. Water just warm!
All the rest.
poor heating poor electrics location at top of hill
Excellent value! No on-duty staff most of the time but it was winter and only three guests at rock-bottom prices so no suprises and certainly not a criticism! Bed made and fresh towels daily, room very clean and bedding changed regularly. Breakfast spartan but, again, for the cost cannot complain at all. Albir has felt the effects of the economy crisis but very friendly in the main. Recommended!
If you want meals, a bar, lots of guest to chat too then you'll be disappointed (at least in winter). Place was deserted mainly but that was fine by me as I used it as a bed and a base to travel from on a daily basis
hot and cold aircon in room. good for hot water. rooms were ok for the price.
tired rooms that just needed a womans touch.
Our quit it was
Well I did not know that I had already paid on my debit card .so I paid 72euros to the owner in cash .so infact I paid twice .and was not told that I had already paid ? I paid by card on the 6/11/2013 .and only got my statement on the 14/11/2013.
the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff - the comfort of the rooms and the quality and quantity of the inclusive breakfast. Extremely close to the entrance to the beautiful Sierra Gelada natural park and the lighthouse walk which was so wonderfully scenic.
the fact that it was an uphill walk from the beach area, but that was a very minor problem and obviously no fault of the hotel.
The breakfast was reasonable The rooms were very clean
On three evenings we had no hot water. The guests in the next room were very inconsiderate, 5.30am they were talking so loadly and banging around in the room We were late in arriving and did not receive a nice welcome.
I did enjoy the swimming pool
No teas made in bedroom needed coffee in morning but restaurant didn't open till 9
