Great city with many attractions and good vibe. Quaint little streets and plenty of restaurants and shops. The mosque/cathedral (Mezquita de Cordoba) is a must to see. Beautiful, spell binding. Unfortunately for us we were there on a Monday and some things were not available to see/participate in i.e. the Equastrian show, the synagogue in the Jewish centre.

40 C in Cordoba during my stay but because the property is in the historic part of the city and of a very old design, the apartment was cool. The host was incredibly friendly and helpful. Overall, a great place to stay.

It's a slower-paced city, much quieter than Seville but still steeped in history with lots to see and do and so much good food on offer. It's also very reasonably priced and easy to walk around - but boy was it hot!

As I mentioned in my main review, during the time of our...
As I mentioned in my main review, during the time of our stay, Cordoba Feria was on, so the place was pretty rammed with visitors, especially in the Old Town and Judiah sectors.
Similarly, it was necessary to pre-book restaurants for both lunch and dinner each day as all the decent ones were pretty much full. Also, dining times are a lot later than in the UK, lunch often between 1400 and 1600 and dinner between 2100 and 2330 hours. Interestingly, 90% of bars and restaurants plus a lot of the shops, seem to close between 1600 and 2000 hours, a throwback I think to days of siestas.
Temperature wise, in May it was about perfect during the daytime, in shorts and tee shirts, especially when the sun was out which was most of the time. However a fleece is definitely required in the evenings, especially if dining al fresco.
Had a very pleasant stay, and saw most of what I had intended to, but unsure whether I would be in a hurry to come back, especially given how busy the tourist areas were plus it proved quite a challenge to navigate the narrow streets especially if you happened to get caught up with a guided tour party of which there were many.
Oh, and very few people speak English either so to have a few words of basic Spanish is recommended.

Cordoba is well worth a visit.
Cordoba is well worth a visit. The old town is small enough to walk around on foot and the Mezquita and the Alcazar are amazing. Just walking around the old streets is really special. If you are thinking of going there do it!!
Great welcome, Valet parking and luggage service (ok, it's a 5*, you'd expect that). Beautiful hotel, very tasteful decoration, sensational inner court with pool, bar and lunch restaurant, great pool furniture and service. Beautiful rooms, well isolated, very clean and very friendly housekeeping staff. Tasteful dishes with great service in restaurant (Patio and - aircon - inside), multilingual and friendly. Great location, only 5min from Center, calm and top notch. Loved it!!!
The ultimate boutique Hotel. Perfectly situated to visit the historic sites, all within walking distance. Breakfast was a gastronomic delight, and healthy. The Hotel has only a few rooms, each tastefully decorated. The personal service from the staff , Lisa& Jose was second to none, always on hand to give advice on how to get the best out of our visit to a wonderful City. We will be back!
This small family-fun hotel is in an excellent location and very lovingly taken care of — you can tell the owners take great pride in the history and decoration of their home! My room was small but comfortable and included access to a beautiful courtyard patio, perfect for enjoying a sunny afternoon. The homemade breakfast was one of the best I’ve enjoyed in Spain — thank you!
My family and I had a nice stay at this charming hotel in the heart of old Cordoba. The staff was friendly and helpful, making our experience even more enjoyable. The rooftop bar was a highlight, offering unparalleled views of the Mezquita. The convenience of the hotel garage, where we could leave our car even after checking out, added an extra layer of comfort to our trip.
This is a great property. We stayed for three nights and it was the best stay we’ve had so far in a longer trip through Spain. The apartment was clean, had lots of space, and had everything we needed to cook, do laundry, etc. It’s a moderate walk to the old town and there are grocery stores and restaurants close by. The train and bus stations are very close too.
excellent location , great staff , wonderful atmosphere but very noisy guests who shout all night bang doors and in the open patio , its something all over spain but i dont understand why no one tells them not to start shouting at two in the morning , that is 2 AM , ITS REALLY RIDICULOUS EVEN WITH EAR PLUGS , and its in every hotel ,
The location is perfect. The hotel is next to the Mezquita Cathedral. We chose the room with parking place so it was very easy for us to park. After check out we walked around the city with the car left in the parking area. The breakfast is very good. I strongly recommend the breakfast. The staff was polite.
The location of this hotel is great, in the heart of Cordoba, right by the Mosque. We had the room with terrace and so we sit a lovely view. The room and bathroom were very spacious and spotlessly clean. I would gladly stay here again.
Staff is very nice, friendly
I loved this place. The outside patio with bar service was great to have in the odd afternoon hours where it is difficult to find an open restaurant. Big king bed that was comfortable. The breakfast was the best buffet we had in our 6 various Spain hotels.
This is luxurious hotel located near Plaza de las Tendillas. Great location to walk to sights. Friendly and helpful staff. Beautiful room. Secure and clean. Best hotel of my 2 weeks in Spain. Also best priced hotel.
Best shower I've ever had in Spain! Friendly helpful host. Thought there would be noise at night where it was but it was very quiet (great location). Pictures don't do it justice. Let us check in early at no extra cost
I'm on road trip in Spain and by far this is the best hotel i stayed in. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. The room was very good, clean, nicely decorated, very good shower in the room. Highly recommend.
Clean, great facilities (I especially appreciated having access to the kitchenette and washing machine) and the room was spacious. The bed was so comfortable. I had the best sleep of my entire trip in Spain.
Amazing to sleep within the ancient fortress walls of Cordoba. I wasn't expecting that....
And to hear the host with friends singing flamenco on the hotel terrace. magic experience.
The hotel is in an excellent position to see the sights and with every facility you need. the washer/dryer combo was terrific for the traveller who is in Spain for an extended time.
everything is perfect. toni waited for us in the front of the reserved parking spot. the apartment is very clean. i think it is the best room of our trip in spain.
