It’s a good place to come to eat and drink. Lots of bars and restaurants. There’s not a lot of international culture here, but there is cuisine from all over the world. Vegetarian and vegan options might be limited in many restaurants so you’d need to do your research to find some variety.
The entertainment is very language based with many bars catering to clientele from specific areas of Europe.

PDI is LGBT friendly but is more geared to gay men.
PDI is LGBT friendly but is more geared to gay men. Yumbo centre is the main place for nightlife. Not a lot going on specifically for the trans element.
Good place for the "swinger" community but more geared towards couples than singles.
Plenty of beaches to choose from for beach bodies, lots of nightlife around the area.
Plenty of tours and things to do during the day if that's what you want or great for lazy days and active nights

I have been coming to Playa del Ingles for just over 10 years, the locals and the great nightlife always draws me back as does the always great weather.
I have visited at different time of the year and always had great weather and a great time.
There are some theme weeks held in the Yumbo Centre that can make it super busy, just a little research will tell you when they are!
Great for winter breaks and over the festive period

If you come to Playa del Ingles you have to remember it's not only a beach holiday but also one of Europe's largest gay nightlife scenes. So if your offended by camp, drag queens, leather guys, pride festivals and so on book a 1* static caravan in Prestatyn instead. If your not you're welcome, and welcomed. Some great venues for everybody of whatever sexuality, identity and age et al. There are some men only venues and let's be honest if you not a gay or bi man then you'd rather not want to know so just move on and likewise outside the Yumbo area there are straight swingers clubs.

Have been visiting for many years and has an all year round good climate. Some areas are now looking a bit tired and there are many empty shops in the various shopping centres. The Kasbah has closed down completely and is derelict. Many of the hotels are a long way from the beach so a pool and sunbeds is really required.

Relaxed and informal resort with lots of places to eat at...
Relaxed and informal resort with lots of places to eat at various price levels and plenty of bars ranging from pubs to swish cocktail bars.
Clientele is mixed British/European with a large LGBT community.
It is not a pretty resort - pretty much everything is concrete but softened by lots of trees. Many places are in unattractive concrete shopping centres dating back to the 1980s.
Prices are generally good and get better if you head up to San Fernando in the Spanish speaking part of town where there are lots more lovely restaurants and big supermarkets.
Everywhere is very easy to walk and the resort is on a slight incline down to the sea.
There is an excellent bus service which takes you around the island for just a few euros and is definitely worth exploring.
Walk along the seafront to San Agustin is recommended and there are some high end shops in the Faro (lighthouse) area of town which is about 15 minutes bus ride away.

All was great! Hotel is located close to the beach, there is a shop right next to it. Staff is very professional and polite. All inclusive option was definitely worth the price - the selection of food and drink is huge and every day for dinner there is a different cuisine served (optionally) - Asian, local etc.
I loved the rooftop bar with amazing view and jacuzzis! There are also sport activities offered (i didn’t join but I saw the schedule) as well as live music and flamenco shows. I fully recommend this hotel!
Great location, close to main beach and shopping areas, particularly the main hub of Playa del Ingles. Also close to bus stops/bus station to travel to other areas of Gran Canaria.
Staff were fantastic and rooms and hotel generally extremely clean.
Entertainment for children and adults throughout the day and night.
Good size pool with plenty of space for everyone and loads of sun beds.
Food was good, plenty of choice at meal times.
Very happy with our stay, excellent location for bars, restaurants and the beach.
The apartments were modern, clean and had most of everything that you need for self catering.
Staff were very helpful and friendly.
Excellent value for money for what we paid compared to other similar places.
Highly recommended and we'd definitely choose Alsol Guatiza if we return to Gran Canaria.
Very good location, nice small hotel with a good pool area, very comfortable sunbeds. Grocery store nearby and few restaurants. Ten minute walk down to beach and a lot of restaurants. 15 minute walk up the street to Jumbo center. We lowed the look of the hotel, the security and the friendly staff.
We have stayed in about 20 hotels in 2022.
This is the only one that exceeded our expectations, and is the one we will go back to.
The setting is really beautiful. The gardens are superb, the pool is wonderful.
The entire place feels wonderfully calm.....which in Playa del Ingles is amazing!
Food was good with a lot of options. Would be good if guests start acting more civilized when it comes to the open buffet. This has nothing to do with the hotel.
Very friendly and helpful staff, good service.
Nice view from the room.

Location was great, just across the beach. The food was very good too with lots of different options. The room was great too with beautiful mountain views, we got a room almost at the very top. Activities offered in the Hotel were very nice.
Great location less than 5 mins away from the beach. Clean hotel and room cleaned every day. The food was great, diverse and consistent in quality. The animation team does great work during the day and evening getting everybody engaged.
Comfortable hotel and excellent service. Despite being located in a busy area, the room was quiet. Perfect hotel for relaxation. Very clean too. I only stayed one night and would love to stay here next time I am in Gran Canaria.
Good place for staying in playa del ingles. Free parking spots available on street (at least in November when the city seems not to be that crowded), spacious apartments, old furniture and but clean and good for the price
very clean hotel with good location. The staff is extremely kind and friendly. Delicious foods. Comfortable, large, quiet room. Comfortable, huge bed. Wi-Fi is perfect throughout the hotel. All inclusive all day.
All inclusive formula is top! Had a lovely time. Great position. I am not used to eat in the hotel because normally it is not so great but the food of this hotel Restaurant is really good and various. It was great!
