Benidorm is great for an affordable holiday. Old town is buzzing with people, shops, bars & resturants. Its far enough away from the 'party strip' whilts still have low key bars. Beach & roads surrounding were amazingly clean. Cabs are cheap, drink & food are cheap. Water park is awesome and only a 10 euro cab ride. People are really nice. We didn't get to spend much time exploring but we thought the city of Benidorm was really fun. There were a lot of people out enjoying the restaurants and nightlife. The size of the city being right on the beach with the mountains in the background was very cool and created a real cinematic backdrop. The midcentury modern vibe was lovely. Wish we could have spent time relaxing at the beach but we weren't able to this trip.

Benidorm has something for everyone.
Benidorm has something for everyone. Two gorgeous sandy beaches, one on the busy Levante side and another on the quieter Poniente side. Inbetween is the charming old town with it's church and viewing point at the top and older streets and buildings. We enjoy a good walk along the seafront to the neighbouring resort of Cala de Finistrat and another walk around the Sierra Helada to Albie and Altea. There are plenty of places nearby for days out to other areas, Guadalest and the waterfalls at Algar.ValerieUnited Kingdom

Staff speak Spanish and English. Beach just a couple of hundred metres away. Some excellent restaurants nearby. Very safe. Star of Hotel Castillo is Fred. He was so helpful and caring. Went out of his way to show us to a fantastic tapas restaurant and arranged an out of hours breakfast when he found we were leaving early. Benidorm must be proud of Fred.

My room was spacious and clean with a large bathroom including a bathtub. It had a large closet and air conditioning. The only downside was the lack of a small fridge. Garage parking was available for my rent a car for an extra fee. Hotel staff were very friendly and professional. I had a very pleasant stay here and would book here again.
