A double room reserved and on arrival provided with a very spacious apartment, the apartments are over the road from the main hotel, so may be an issue for those with mobility issues or in event of bad weather having to go outside in order to access breakfast.

The heater doesn't have enough power to heat the whole room, the shower height cannot be changed and there's very little variety for breakfast and no vegan alternatives. If there is a swimming pool which we did not see it is near the car parking area which is separate from the hotel, across a busy road. The hotel is incredibly dated. We have used the hotel several times in the past few years as a stop over in Spain and always found the rooms to be of a high standard. The breakfast is excellent.
