The hotel was clean, the room I got was spacious. The restaurant served very delicious food. The staff were very kind. The breakfast was good-sausages, scrambled eggs, beans, mushrooms, bacon, tomatoes, bread, salmon, sandwiches, fruits, 3 kinds of salami, 3-4 kinds of cheese, freshly squeezed orange juice, peach and ananas juice. Coffee machine, different kind of milk (f.e. oat and so on), tortilla de patatas, cereal, fruit yogurts and variety of sweets (donuts, churros, waffles and so on). 2 minutes walk to the amazing sand beach. There's supermarket behind the hotel. Very good WiFi!

Gema was truly helpful and made us feel like we were at home. Her knowledge of the area and activities helped make our stay in Alicante a delight. The room was perfect for our needs and we will likely return. The dining/breakfast area were clean and inviting. Having coffee available in the afternoons was a treat and the mints sweetened our stay. Location was ideal for us, train travelers. We made full use of the bidet in the room. We commend the hotel staff for their friendliness, helpfulness and efficiency. Overall, a great place to stay in Alicante.

FAQs about hotels in Alicante

A 7,000 Year Old Mediterranean Jewel

Surrounded by the sandy Costa Blanca beaches and the crystalline waters of the Mediterranean Sea, Alicante has a rich heritage built over thousands of years. Alacant (as it's known in Valencian) has a deep history ranging from the first tribes that arrived at the slopes of Mount Benacantil to Greeks, Romans and Moors. Nowadays, this modern city features a bustling harbor, great Spanish nightlife, charming old streets and modern beach resorts.

Overlooking the city from the top of Mount Benacantil, the Castle of Santa Barbara was built during Islamic rule in the 9th century. Cascading down the slopes towards the center of the city, L'Ereta Park has terraced levels that offer stunning panoramic views of the city. The remains of the ancient Roman town of Lucentum are also just a few miles away.

Barrio de la Santa Cruz is the historic quarter, featuring narrow streets, old houses and cobbled steps. Framed by palm trees and covered with a snaking pattern of white, red and blue tiles, the Explanada de Espana is considered one of Spain’s most beautiful promenades.

After arriving at Alicante Airport, indulge yourself in a resort near San Juan beach, or enjoy the view of luxurious yachts moored at the marina from a cozy B&B: Booking.com has the perfect spot for you to discover the magic of Alicante!

First visit for my mother who is 86.

First visit for my mother who is 86. She loved the city and with the lift to Castillo Santa Barbara and the well laid out paths to Castillo San Fernando she was able to enjoy most of the main sites. A first visit to MUBAG for us both.....wonderful space. The Metro was accesible and comfortable so we enjoyed a trip to Villajoyosa and the Valor chocolate museum - again the facilities there meant the tour was fully accessible. Loved El Parque Palmeral, although because of road works, finding a working bus stop to get back was a bit of a challenge, which was overcome with the help of some lovely local people.

Initially I found it hard to navigate my way around the city as it is vast, with SO many little side streets, avenues & larger shopping areas. I didn't have mobile data so had no access to maps or translation apps unless I was back at my hotel (using the free wifi) so in future I wouldn't be so stubborn by refusing to pay the data roaming fees :) It would have made my life so much easier. That said, by getting lost & exploring, I discovered streets & places that I probably wouldn't have otherwise so it just added to the adventure! Weather: 10/10. Scenery: 10/10. Once I got my bearings I was able to really enjoy myself & would definitely go back again!

Lovely weather durng the Easter break, generally very warm to moderately hot, and cooler in the shade or when there was some wind. The area was a good size to explore on foot with convenient access to neighbouring places like El Campello by tram. The food was great, we ate out at various restaurants throughout our stay, mainly favouring paella, tapas and Japanese food (ramen and sushi). Took our kids and they had a good time exploring and spending some time on the beach. Also managed a couple of days in the hotel pool which was lukewarm but bearable for short swims (about 30-45 mins).

Nice market by the marina & a casino (need to take passport). The old town has lovely little streets packed with bars & restaurants. Very well equipped apartment, there was everything you may need during your stay. Our host told us about important things and gave us few recommendations in Alicante. Apartment is very clean, a little bit too dark, there's only one window - but it won't bother you if you're gonna spend time sightseeing or chilling on the beach. :) Big shops like Mercadona are about 10 minutes walk from the apartment, city center within 20-25 minutes of walk, you can use buses.

The hotel has a great location with only a few minutes walk to the beach, while still being located in the gorgeous old town of Alicante. Hotel is located outside the city centre - 50 min walk - but has no. 23 bus service immediately outside which makes travel to/from the city very convenient. It is also a 20 min walk or 6-7 min bus ride to the nearest tram station and 20 min walk to Albuferta beach. Lovely informed staff. Very clean and rooms serviced daily. Pool and sun bathing area are good. Did not use restaurant but looked busy with good breakfast and dinner buffets.

Fabulous location, right in the heart of the old town. The building itself is steeped in history, a former nunnery. Bars and restaurants are just outside the front door.. rooms are soundproofed and are impenetrable by any external noise. The staff were amazing, especially Emiliano who was most helpful in sharing his knowledge of the local area, which in turn, ensured that we saw the best of Alicante during our stay.

The owner imposes the installation of an App that collects the customer's document plus a selfie to give access to the apartment; to activate their App you must activate bluetooth and location services; location services can be switched off, after. The data collected by their mandatory mobile App exceeds Police requirements; in Spain no hotel takes "selfies" of customers.

Location very good, Personnel very helpful and friendly. Breakfast tasty and good choice. Laura from clients relations front desk is courteous and very helpful. In general the hotel is a good place to stay in Alicante.

Cute little hotel in the heart of the city center. Nice rooms with super good beds, toilets really updated with cool decoration. Staff was very nice and also our room was cleaned everyday, which was a happy surprise :)

The hotel was clean with a nice pool area and breakfast was decent. It is on the beach road so good for easy access and there are some restaurants close by.
