Nice sleepy town on west of island
Not much going on there but seems to support a farming community
Eating very limited in the town if you want to find Canarian or Spanish food.
Nice base for a couple of days of sightseeing

Nothing much to do or see in the town although the centre square was pleasant. The town was quite run down but some effort had been made in places to brighten it up
A couple of nice places to eat but had to hunt them out - especially La Salento just outside town which was fabulous for dinner
Definitely not geared up for tourists but would have potential

La Aldea de San Nicolas is a village-town, it is quiet and completely different from Mas Palomas. Ideall for few days to take rest from tourists and ideall place to make some trips for less visited places in Gran Canaria.

This is a great location right on the promenade, although of course that makes it very public with everyone looking into your room. The studio is modern and very nicely decorated and has everything you need. There are 4 restaurants within 50m. Parking is in a public car park 100m away. The nearest shops are in La Aldera de San Nicolas. Elena is a very helpful host. The sound of the sea was ever present!
The hotel is very cosy and very well priced. It is situated in a quiet town in a mountain valley with picturesque views. It has a small private swimming pool and jacuzzi, beach chairs with umbrellas, ping-pong, pool and small book library for the guests to use free of charge. The offered breakfast menu is relatively good. The hotel is relatively clean. No problems for parking. Very nice staff.
Room was very spacious, clean with a balcony offering the view overlooking the pool.
Staff were very friendly and warm. Hotel is offering great breakfast, in my case was included in the overnight price.
They have a garage and also outside parking which is essential if renting a car.
Hotel is situated in a quiet town and quiet street. Entirely up my alley.
Amazing breakfist with cava and fresh products! Great location, close to beautiful sites of the island. Very clean and spacious room, they clean the room every morning . Beautiful view out of the balcony. Very friendly and helpfull staff. There parking in the street of the hotel, when it's full there is parking in the next street.
Our room was on a quaint town square including a church and several restaurants where town folk come to socialize. The office where the main hotel is located includes a pool and jacuzzi as well as the buffet area. Loved this place to use as our home base while visiting beaches and sightseeing.
