It was really nice, The reception is open 24/7 we reached the hotel by around 0030 hrs and the counter was open.
We had a private sauna in our room which is really good.
Breakfast was also very nice.
Everything was perfect. The house, the location, the garden, the sauna, the nature, the lake and the environment. Marko and his family were wonderful hosts and gave us a lot of good tips and ideas about our stay in Finland. They were very warm and welcoming and lent us all kinds of toys for our little girl. Even had kittens that she could play with in the garden. Marko is also a great chef and a pizza maker. We loved everything and are hopefully coming back in the future. Thank you so much for a wonderful vacation in Finland.
Our dream night in Finland! The house is very cozy and accessible via local transportation or car. Poppii was very welcoming and prepared for us an AMAZING salmon soup that we'll never forget.
The cottage is very clean and feels very new. The fireplace is very warm and safe and easy to use.
The sauna is perfect, and the ability to go sit by your own personal pier with a coffee ( or swim in the cold cold lake) is just splendid. The lake is beautiful.
A real slice of paradise that we won't forget — thank you Poppii !
I frequently travel for business to this part of Helsinki, so I wanted to try the Heymo 1. It's certainly a budget option, the price was very low for Finland, which means that everything is automated with minimal staff (who were very kind). Directions were well labelled, all info was on the TV. The room was spacious, bed was very comfortable and the bathroom well equipped. I did not use the common room in the basement, but I did like the 24h hot drink station. I would love a Heymo hotel at the airport!
Delightful surprise and a superb experience. Tapiola is finally almost done, and you have all the services you could possibly ask for. Also, this hotel has recently undergone a complete renovation, and I liked the room and other facilities such as the restaurant and breakfast area. The location is perfect also if you're planning to visit Helsinki. Extra mention for the very welcoming and friendly staff throughout the stay. I will stay here again for sure.
I stayed two nights because I wanted to experience the Finnish forest. But as a solo traveler, I did not want to go too wild to be extra cautious. The hotel met my expectations, you can walk around the hotel and there is already a good forest walking. The staff were very friendly, the breakfast spread was good enough. I want to visit again!!
+ Location right next to the metro station, easy to access central Helsinki
+ Beautiful, stylish apartment
+ Clean
+ Lots of amenities
+ Fulfilled all our expectations and was exactly as described
+ Hosts were quick to reply and help out when needed
+ Was able to park car close to apartment
From the moment I arrived, I was greeted by the warmest and most attentive hotel staff I have ever encountered. Their genuine smiles and willingness to assist created an immediate sense of comfort and hospitality. Great customer service from restaurant staff and receptionist. 👍
Hotel is right next to the shopping centre and a metro station. By looking at map only, it looks like it is far away but it is so convenient and fast to get everywhere from here. The price is a bargain compared to other places closer to Helsinki.
the location is amazing. if you’re looking for peace and rest that’s THE place to go to. the staff is friendly as well. I was traveling solo and they made sure I was coming back to the hotel every night safely.
Nice place to spend a couple of days in Espoo. Hotel room is clean, bed is very comfortable. Great that pets are allowed. Quite close Metro station and not so far from Tapiola.
Everyhing in the hotel was excellent: except breakfast. I am travelling a lot and usually in Finland breafasts in the hotels are good.
Breakfast in Matts was flavourless.
